Wonderful Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas. Tyler got spoiled like always, but that is ok. We were at my mom's for Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Then we left Friday morning to head back to Brookings. This is the first year that we did Christmas this way. We usually do Christmas Eve with my mom and Christmas day with Dan's side, but it was getting to much driving and rushing and no time to enjoy it. Then Friday, we came home and Tyler opened gifts from Santa and us. Then Friday night, we headed to Dan's parents to celebrate Christmas on Saturday with them. Then Sunday was my birthday big 27... Dan's grandparents were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, so they had a big party that we were at. Then Dan and I left early to go out to eat just the two of us for my special day. That was nice. We then picked Tyler up at his Aunt and Uncles and came home. Monday brought us to opening every gift that Tyler got. He was up early :(... he wanted everything opened now. That is about it. We are having some friends over for New Years, so that it going to be fun. I hope everyone has a Safe Happy New years! Pictures to come....

Merry Christmas!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. I finished up my shopping today, the day before Christmas Eve. I should know better then to wait till the last minute. Oh well... After Dan gets off work on Christmas Eve we are heading to my mom's in Huron. Then coming home Friday to have Christmas with the three of us. Saturday we are off to Dan's parents to have Christmas with his side. Then Sunday my birthday :) big 27 ugh... getting up there. His grandparents are celebrating their
50th wedding anniversary. There is a party/dance for them on Sunday. We will be heading back home that evening. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!!

Weekend Recap!

Well, as you know I graduated on Saturday. That was a wonderful day that I have been waiting for. Most of my family was able to make it. Then after my party my mom and Ryan, Dan, Tyler, and I headed to Sioux Falls to do some shopping and get Tyler's Santa pictures done. At first, I didn't think we were going to have much luck, then I bribed him and then he smiled and wouldn't stop talking to Santa. They were cute. Then after we got back Dan and I went down town for a little bit because it was his Christmas Party and bunch of them were down town. It was packed down there. I have never seen so many people there before. It was a fun time. Then Sunday we were snowed in. My mom and Ryan were snowed in with us. It was a fun day. We decided to venture out and see how bad it was. We went to Wal-mart and Runnings. Then we had a bowling tournament on the Wii, that was really fun. They were finally able to head home on Monday Morning. Tyler and I stayed home Monday and just took it easy and took a nap. Tuesday through Friday I am subbing for a teacher. Yeah, I actually get paid for it now :).... Well, until next time try and keep warm.

Graduating!!!

This week has been busy. Getting ready for graduation and my last week teaching. Thursday was my official last day with my first graders. It was a sad day. They had a surprise party for me. It was a great day. I will sure miss them. Saturday is the big day. I am FINALLY graduating. I have dreamed of this day for a long time. I thought this day would never come, but it is. Saturday is the special day that I will finally reach my goal. I am beyond excited. Everyone asks me if it feels good to be done, well actually it hasn't hit me. I will feel like I have homework to do, but I won't...... I am done!! Now, its time to find a job. I would love to find one teaching, but who knows. I do have a job starting in January. I got approached by a teacher that was teaching in the district that I was teaching in. Her and another family was looking for a nanny and it wasn't suppose to be until Aug, but since it was a very bad situation she removed her kids from their previous daycare. So She asked if I would be interested and I said Yes! Its great money and I am excited to do it. I do wish it was teaching in a school. Well, that is all for now. Very Productive Weekend!!

This weekend was very productive. Friday, we rented some movies and then took Tyler to McDonald's. His favorite place to eat. Dan and I watched a movie and then went to bed. Saturday we put up Christmas decorations. Tyler was so excited to put the tree up and get decorations up around the house. It sure does look nice. Dan even put some lights up on the house. It got us in the Christmas mood :) Then Saturday night we were invited to go out with some friends for supper. We headed to Sioux Falls and went out with some friends. We had a babysitter for our kids, so that was nice to go out for a change. We had a great time. Then Sunday, we cleaned and I did homework and corrected papers most of the day. Dan watched two of his movies he rented. It was a relaxing day for us. I am counting down now... I graduate in 6 days and can't wait. I am beyond excited. I have been waiting for this day for a long time. I keep dreaming it and it never comes true until Saturday. Yahoo!!!! Well, that is about it for now. I have 4 days left with my first graders. I just can't leave them, so I thought I would stay until Christmas break and help my mentor teacher out. I will be subbing on some of the days, which is nice so I can earn some money. Update!

Well, here we are its Wednesday already. Tyler and I had a good time at my Dad's. We had a good Thanksgiving. Great food:) The drive was long, but we got through it. The drive on the way back was boring for Tyler. He did fall asleep the last 30 minutes. So the drive made it long for me. I am done teaching full time. I now just observe and help out where needed. I had a great experience and I love teaching. I just wish I could find a job. I graduate Dec. 13 and can't wait. Its been a long road as many of you would know. Well, that is all for now, but I will leave you with our family picture. I actually like them... that is surprising because I don't like myself in pictures. hahah...

Recap!

Well, I made it through my awful test. It was 6 essays with 3 questions under each one, plus 24 multiple choice.. ugh.... my hand hurt after that one and thinking I hope I don't have to take it again. My mom and Ryan came to watch Tyler Saturday and they surprised us by staying overnight. I was so happy. I love it when my mom is able to come stay with us. We went shopping and just hung out. Sunday, I took a nap and worked on my lesson plans. That was about it. Can you believe that its almost Thanksgiving and then its count down to Christmas.... WOW!! where does the time go. Yahoo! Its Friday :)

Yeah, its Friday. I am so glad its Friday. We made it through our doctors appointment yesterday (Thursday) and now its just a wait and see game. Hopefully we will have good news. Tonight we had a babysitter come and watch Tyler, so Dan and I could have a date. We have not had a date for over a year... I even think its been longer then that. :( that is sad. I had everything planned. I was excited because we were going out to eat and then to a movie. I want to see High School Musical 3 so bad... Well, when I called Dan on my way to pick Tyler up, he said do you want good news or bad news. Well, I said what.. He said that your movie is not playing anymore... Ugh... I was so mad. It never fails. Well, we still went to eat and then to a different movie. We saw Zach and Miri making a Porno... Not a movie that I recommend. Its funny, but stupid. Anyway. Enough of that. I have my last test that I have to take tomorrow (Sat.). Its 12 essay and thirty multiple choice. I hate tests. I hope I do good and then I am done. My mom is coming to watch Tyler and Dan is going to work with cattle. Then Sunday we are having family pictures taken, we hope the weather corporates. I want to take them at Falls Park in Sioux Falls, we shall see. Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. bye-bye for now.

We made it!!!

Just a quick update. We made it to Sioux Falls on Tuesday for my doctors appointment. So now we go back Thursday. Hopefully everything goes well and we will have good news coming up soon :)..... We are praying and crossing our fingers. I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week. I hope this weather stays away because this is getting old...... I hate WINTER..

Tyler had a bad day today. He was in time out today for pushing a child into the wall because he didn't want him sitting there. Ugh.... Tyler usually doesn't do this, but I guess he was very emotional today. He cried over everything. I knew he was emotional because when I picked him up he had a melt down. Usually when gets this way meaning emotional he is getting sick or maybe its the weather. Another reaason why I hate this weather.

Freezing Rain=No school! :)

Well, I am home today since we don't have school due to our wonderful weather. We have freezing rain, which I think is worse then snow. Its awful here. I hate winter in South Dakota, but I should be use to it, but I am not. I didn't think Sioux Valley (Volga) was going to cancel. Arlington and Brookings was closed and we were the only ones open, but they finally did. The only bad part about this day is I was suppose to go to Sioux Falls for a doctors appointment this afternoon. We are on a timeline, so not sure what is going to happen. Maybe it will be better this afternoon, so we can still go... I hope... Well, I hope everyone has a great day. Tyler and I will be watching movies and hanging out. Until later.....bye-bye

Ugh...Its SNOWING and it doesn't look like its going to stop soon..... Maybe it will be a snow day tomorrow... that would be nice to have the day off and I know my first graders would love that as well.

Update!!

Wow! Days/nights are just flying by. I have been so busy. Well, Tyler and I took Harley to my mom's, so he has a new home. That has been nice since he a different dog since he has been there, because there is no other dog to fight with and a little boy that is rough with him. Saying good-bye for Tyler went well, I was suprised and was prepared for the worse, but he said "Good-bye Harley I will miss you and I will come visit you." :) It was cute and almost brought tears to my eyes. During the week we have been busy with just the nightly things we do. We have been without daycare since last Thursday, so Tyler went to work with Dan and then Friday I didn't have school, so we headed to my mom's because I had a dentist appointment. Friday, we went to Hartford and went trick-or-treating. Tyler had a great time and understood what to do. He loved going door to door. He would say are we done and I would say are we, then he would say NO we are going to the next house. Tyler was our superman. I will post pictures tomorrow. :) I will try... Then Saturday I had to work the concession stand at the SDSU football game for my National Honor society group. It was interesting and fun. Then I went to Hartford to pick Tyler up and go out to eat with some friends since Dan was putting doors in their house. Sunday we spent the day cleaning and I organized some things. Then we met Dan's aunt and uncle for them to take Tyler on Monday.. no daycare. Well, they ended up calling at like 7:30-8:00 P.M. to say they decided to open up, well that is kinda late, and Tyler was down the road a ways, so we just kept him there.
Then Monday, we had a doctors appointment. We got some GOOD news this time. We are going to do the artifical insemination. The doctor told us that it looks promising for us this month. So I am on some pills then have to give myself shots starting next Tuesday. I can't give myself shots, so Dan is going to have to do it. Then we will go from there when we do the procedure. We just hope it works, otherwise we are done if this doesn't work. We will just count our blessings with Tyler. Other than that there is nothing else going on. Its suppose to snow and I hope it doesn't :)...Have a great week and I will try and post some pictures of Tyler....

SNOW!!!

Its SNOWING!!! I hate SNOW.... We have about 1-2 inches of snow here in Brookings. It can go away and stay away. I think we are in for a long winter :( During school today, I was teaching a lesson and the kids noticed that it was SNOWING. They were all excited and didn't want to their work... it was quite funny hearing the kids talk about the snow. Well, I hope it goes away soon for awhile.... I just wanted to share my thoughts on SNOW... Ugh...Until next time...

This is Horrible of me!

This will be the second time I am posting. I have been so busy and not having enough time to post because by the time I get home and actually get time to check my e-mail and everything else I am ready for bed. Well, this last weekend we went to the cities. It was a lot of fun. We left Friday night and came back Sunday. On Saturday we spent most of the day at the Mall of America. Tyler had a great time riding on rides, I wish I would of remember my camera :(.... Next time. My mom came with us, so it was a lot fun. I always enjoy spending time with her. Dan went to a cattle show and sale, so it didn't do much shopping, but he was fine with that. Well, this weekend it will be just Tyler and I because Dan is heading back home to put the rest of the windows in his brothers place. Tyler and I will be going to the rodeo on Saturday in Brookings. He is so excited. Well, I hope I can most more often. I just have been busy teaching first grade. I am enjoying every minute and I will be very sad when I have to leave, but I will substitute. Well, Here I am!!

Well, this last weekend we stayed home to relax and enjoy ourselves. Friday we went grocery shopping, picked up some movies and then went home to watch one. Saturday we cleaned our house and then watched a movie. That night we had some friends over and we had a few drinks and played blowing on the Nintendo Wii. It was really fun to have some people over. Sunday it was icky outside, so it was a lazy day/night. We watched football and took a nap. Monday I had a dentist appointment in Huron back at my mom's, so I went to her house for the day. Then Tuesday I was back to teaching first graders :)... I am having so much fun and I can't wait to get my own classroom. This weekend we are heading to the cities. Dan is going there for a cattle sale and my mom, me, and Tyler are going to there to shop and hang out and have some fun :)... It will be a fun weekend to just get away. I hope everyone has a great week and weekend.

What a weekend!!

Well, lets see, its been awhile since my last post. Friday Tyler and I just hung out. He wasn't feeling that well, so we just played low. Saturday he was feeling better so we headed to Sioux Falls to watch Sadie march in her last parade then we were off to a birthday party. After our birthday party we were off to a wedding in Worthington. It was a very nice wedding and we had fun. Sunday there was some people selling pugs for only 50.00, well, I have always wanted one. I wanted a female, but they didn't have any left, so I settled for one of the males. They were so cute, so I couldn't pass him up. NOW, I wish I would of just said NO. I made a mistake. Its just not working out for us, so if we can find a new home that would be great. Sammy our other dog doesn't NOT like him, so its been a challenge for her. Its Tyler's dog, but its just too much right now with everything going on.

Where does time go?

Oh my it has been a week since I posted last. I feel so bad, I was trying to post at least everyday or every other week. Its been quite busy here. I am so tired when I get home from teaching, that all I want to do is go to bed, but I have other things to do. I always have somthing that I have to do at home...It never ends...ok...enough complaining.. Student teaching is going good. It has been quite interesting and I am learning lots. I am still planning on putting pictures up. I hope to get that done Friday night. This weekend we are busy like always. This weekend its Hobo Days, which for those of you that don't know it its SDSU homecoming. Its going to be packed with people everywhere. We went to the parade last year and it was a parade to see if you haven't seen it. This year we won't make it. Dan is going back home Friday afternoon to put windows in his brothers house. Tyler and I will be home Friday night just hanging out. Saturday we are heading to Sioux Falls for my cousin's son's first b-day. Then Dan's good friend is getting married, so we have a wedding back at his home town in Minnesota, so busy weekend for us. Before we go to the b-day party we are going to try and watch Sadie (Dan's sister) in the parade in Sioux Falls. She does the flags and this will be her last parade. She is a senior this year. Who knows we may sleep in... hahaha probably not, well Tyler probably will be up somewhat early. Well, enough rambling here, I hope everyone has a great weekend and until later....take care :)

Wow!

Wow! This has been a busy weekend and week and its only half way done. Tyler had a great time at his party and got a lot of nice things and appreciates all of them. Thank you to everyone! Monday was my first day of student teaching in first grade in Volga, which has been interesting, fun, and tiring. I can't wait until I start teaching all of it on my own. I know I am not use to being on my feet all day and eating lunch in like 5 minutes or less. My feet hurt and I am tired.... Its all worth it and I can't wait till I get my own classroom. I will post some pictures from Tyler's party sometime soon. Until then take care!

Party Time :)

This weekend we have Tyler's birthday party at Chucke-Cheese. He is so excited to go there and celebrate his birthday. Then we are staying in Sioux Falls with my mom and Ryan and going swimming at the hotel and do some shopping. I have to go clothes shopping for my teaching. I don't have much dress up clothes. I guess its time to get professional :)... Tonight, we are going to Sioux Falls to spend time with our friend Ashley and hang out. Well, I hope everyone has a great weekend. Tyler had a great Day!

Tyler had a great birthday. I had the house decorated for him, so when he came home from daycare it was a surprise for him. He enjoyed it a lot. Then we went to Sioux Falls to Toy R Us for him to pick out his bike, well, we got there and he rode around on two bikes, but then he was more into the motorized vehicles..haha doesn't surprise me. So we walked around the store for about 30-45 min before deciding exactly what he wants. He got the bike, I don't think he is sold on it, so who knows we may take it back. I have pictures and I will post them later today. I hope everyone has a good day.

Happy Birthday Tyler!!

My baby is 3 today....tear..tear.. I can't believe how fast they grow up. I just want to wish my son a very Happy Birthday!! Hope your day is special and you get all things you want. We are heading to Sioux Falls tonight to have him pick out his present... He is getting a bike, plus many more things.. I know we spoil him :).. Then we are going out to eat with Dan's aunt and Uncle and cousins. We have big b-day part on Sat. at Chucke-Cheese, his favorite place. We had his party there last year. He got to choose where he wanted his b-day party. I thought for sure he would of chose hotel and swimming, but I guess I was wrong..

Its FRIDAY :)

Yeah, its Friday, which means the last day of the work/school week. Well, yesterday was my dye test, which went good. They didn't find blockages, but said that hopefully this help to open things up better, but we have at least one more test to do, but has to wait till next month since I have that cyst.
Today, I am doing laundry, picking up the house, and should be doing homework, but ugh.. I don't want to, but it has to get done sometime. This weekend we have pictures on Saturday for his Grandpa and Grandma's 50 wedding anniversary that is in Dec. Then we are going to take Tyler to the races for the last time this year on Saturday night. Sunday Dan is going to look at cattle with a friend and Tyler and I will be at home hanging out and doing homework if I don't have it done, which I am sure I won't. I am so horrible at procrastination. I need to work on that or maybe I work better under pressure. Well, that is all for now.. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Weekend Recap/Doc. Appt

Well, here it is Tuesday already. Where are the days going??? Well, Friday we headed to Sioux Falls for Tyler's 3yr pictures. It was so hard to pick from all the poses. I will share them with you when I download them. Saturday we stayed home until later that evening. One of our friends that babysat Tyler came to see us, she now goes to school Watertown. We sure do miss her. That night we headed to Hartford to Dan's aunt and uncle to stay the night then go to the Clay County Fair in Spencer, Iowa. It was a fun time at the fair, but late night. Means we got home late Sunday night it made Monday so much harder. Monday afternoon I had an ultrasound to check my ovaries to see if they can put me on Clomid for the Clomid challenge test, well, last month they found a cyst on my left ovary, and well we didn't do a scan it was just felt by my doc. So when they did the ultrasound at the fertility specialist it was huge and I had a feeling that it wasn't gone because I have been in a lot of pain. It could burst, but by putting me on birth control they are hoping it goes down or away. I was on birth control last month, but since they don't have a scan to go by they don't know if its grown or got smaller. Next month, we I have a scan again they can see the difference. Good news or good luck is never on my side. On Thursday I have a dye test, which is to see if I have a blockage in my tubes. I am guessing I have one on my left side, but who knows. We will find results from that procedure that day. Dan is going with me for this scan since I have to have a driver. After we have this scan we will then know where we stand of which way we can go to reach pregnancy. Well, I hope I have better news another day. I hope everyone has a wonderful week.

ITS FRIDAY!!!

Yay!! Its Friday. I think this week has been long. Wednesday I started my two week class then its off to Student Teaching. I can't believe I am finally seeing the light at the end of my college career. About time... Its been way overdue. Tonight, Tyler is getting his 3yr pictures done. Tear... I can't believe he is going to be 3... They grow up so fast. :( Saturday and Sunday I believe we are staying home. It may change. I was suppose to go to a purse party, but that got cancelled. Well, I know this is just random, but I thought I would share what is going on with us. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and will be back on Monday. :).....

Doctor Update/Weekend Update!

Well, it was a great weekend at my mom's. We had a lot of fun at the fair and with my mom and Ryan. Well, I will go back to Thursday the day of our doctors appointment. Dan and I were thinking our next step was In Vitro, well, we were right. From my last surgery for my endometrosis I had a lot of abrasions and I was a mess in there. There are four stages and well, I am on the line between 3 and 4, not good. So now, we are going to run some tests to see if I am actually ovulating and then a dye test to see if I have blockage in my fallopian tubes. I am guess my tubes are damage and I have a blockage. So In Vitro is our best option unless I am not ovulating and they can't help me. I have been on fertility drugs to help me ovulate, but those didn't help me conceive. Dan and I are torn on if we want to do In Vitro because 1 its not guarantee and 2 its very expensive :(... So we are going to wait till we get the tests done and the results back to make our decision. Not good...Its taking a toll on us. I was told by my doctor when Tyler was about 1 to try for another one, but we weren't ready, well, now we are kicking ourselves for not doing that. But you never know!!!

Thursday night we went to the Bull Bash, Tyler had a great time. Friday, Tyler and I hung out at grandma's and then went to the fair to meet Dan to go through the baby animals. Then we came back to my mom's to take a nap. Then we got up and went to the concert George Jones, it was putting me to sleep. Saturday we went to the fair for awhile to walk around and looked through things. Saturday night Tyler rode rides and lots of them. That night the concert was 38 degrees, which it was so loud that Tyler and I left. I let him ride rides. Sunday we went back to the fair for a little bit then went to the concert that I waiting for. Montgomery Gentry. We bought the concert package just because of this concert because the package was only 80.00 including gate admisson, so your best to buy that. It was the best concert that I have been too. It as awesome. Then Monday we went back to the fair to let Tyler ride more rides and then came back to my mom's to have supper and then headed home. It was a fun filled weekend. We are all so tired. Today, school starts for college well after 4 today. I have a meeting this afternoon and then start full force tomorrow. I will keep you all updated. I did take some pictures, but on my mom's camera,so when I get those I post them. Have a good day!!

What is going on here?

Well, its been quite a busy place here in our household. Friday Dan had the day off, so we went to Sioux Falls and I went out with my friend Ashley. It was girls night out. We went to a movie then to Olive Garden- Yummy :) Dan took our kids back to his parents place to sell cattle. Dan and I decided to stay in Sioux Falls, to spend time together, so we got a hotel room for the weekend with a pool. Tyler sure enjoyed it. Saturday we just hung out and ran some errands. Then Sat. night we went out for supper with one of Dan's friends and his girlfriend, so that was fun and nice to see them. Sunday we headed home in the morning, which on our way home we stopped at Dan's friends place to look at some cattle and then we went home and took naps.
Monday was the first day of school in Volga, so I got to observe and help out in my classroom that I will be student teaching in. I will in a first grade room. It will be a lot of fun and I can't wait.
Tuesday I had a dentist appointment in Huron, so Tyler and I headed there and spent the day at my mom's and then went out for supper.
Its now Wednesday and I have a doc appointment today for my bladder just installations and I should go buy books, but that doesn't sound like fun.
Tomorrow is our big day of our appointment with the fertility specialist, so I will update you on that when I get back from my mom's on Monday. We are going to the state fair, so it will be fun. I have a great week and long weekend.

Recap!

Well, here it is already Wednesday. Nothing much going on here sides hanging out. This weekend we had a lot fun with Dan's cousin's family. The kids played a lot and had fun. We played Wii, which was a lot of fun. Sunday we went to the water park here in Brookings, so that was fun. I hate to say it that its our first time there this summer. We have been to the wading pool one time. We have a little pool here, so that makes its easier to just stay home. Monday and Tuesday Tyler and I just hung out. We did meet some friends at the park on Monday, so that was fun. Then we went to Dan's work and helped him paint a door. Oh, Ya I forgot Sunday night we went to Subway, which was easy then we went to one of Dan's job sites at the college to watch him finish up some things. Tyler had fun playing in the dirt piles. Then it was late and time for us to go home. It was a great weekend. I hope everyone has a great day!! I will post another day to inform you what we are doing this weekend because not sure right now.

Recap!

Well, its been about a week since my last post. I am sorry about that. Well, the weekend went ok....it was busy and Tyler had fun petting the cows. Dan's sister did win a trip to the Minnesota State fair, but we are not going to go this year because its a lot of money to go. So that is nice that we are taking this year off of not going. You know I said that I was going to take my camera, well I forgot it.. Sorry...

Monday Tyler and I went to Aberdeen with Dan. He had a job site to measure some things. It just happen that my friend Betsy and her boyfriend just moved to Aberdeen, so we got to see them and have supper. It was a great time. On our way home we stop to see my mom and Ryan. I haven't seen my mom for awhile so it was nice to see her for a little bit.

Tuesday Tyler and I went to Sioux Falls for my doctor appointment. I dropped Tyler off at Dan's aunt and uncle. I went to the doctor and got nothing but bad news. I just cried most of the day after that. Very emotional. The doctor found a cyst on my left side overy, so now I am on birth control to help that this month. Since we have been on clomid for 3 months with normal levels my doctor said its highly unlikely its going to work, so he referred us to a fertility specialist. My doctor wanted us to get in as soon as possible, so we have an appt with the P.A Aug. 28since we can't get in until oct. So hopefully we will have some answers and see where we are going to go. Cross your fingers. Hopfully we will get good news.

Well, enough of that. We haven't been doing a whole lot. This weekend Dan's cousin's family is coming. They have two kids one that just turned 2 and one that is 6. It will be fun to have company and have some fun. Well, until next time have a great weekend :)

Heading to Minnesota!!

This weekend we are heading to Worthington, Minnesota for the fair. Dan's sister is in 4-h, so she shows cattle and has other non-livestock projects. I hope it will be fun, but who knows. Tyler gets to ride rides, so that should be fun for him and see his cows. I will make sure I have my camera to share some photos.

Doctor update on me... There isn't much news here. We still have no good news. I go back to the doctor on Tuesday, so we shall see. I still have until October to take my clomid, but then we are done. We are open to adoption, so we shall see. Cross our fingers and pray for us. Its been a long and depressing/frustrating road. We will get through it together. Ok.. enough of the sad things.

As I promised that I would update you on Tyler. He is doing a lot better. Although he did have a small fever yesterday, but its way better then 102.9... He is running around and being himself (ornery). Spelling may be off.... He has been giving me trouble for about a month now, but that is kids for you. :)

What is happening??

Well, what is happening with us. This last weekend we spent it in Sioux Falls. My dad was back for a work meeting, so we spent Saturday with him. We did some errands around Sioux Falls. On Friday I went to my friends place in Harrisburg, to help her out. Her husband is in Iraq :(..Her son was sick and she was unable to run some errands, so I watched her son. Then We just hung out Saturday night and part of Sunday. Monday was a lazy day. I did laundry all day, which is not always fun. Then today we are just relaxing. Tyler isn't feeling well at all. He has had a runny/congested nose for about two weeks. He also has a cough, but has running around, so haven't been too worried about him. Currently today, he was whinny and just not himself. He was cold and then all of sudden he was burning up, so he has a fever and he just wanted to sleep on the couch and that is where he is. So we shall see if he gets better or if I have to take him in tomorrow. :(.. I hope everyone has a wonderful day/week. I will keep you all updated on Tyler.

Weekend Recap!

So its Tuesday, which another week starts. This last weekend we were at my mom's which was fun. We always have a good time at my mom's. I helped my mom out with one of her 5 jobs. I actually enjoyed it. It was bookeeping things. Then I took Tyler to the cattle show Friday and Saturday. He liked helping his dad groom the cattle. Friday I had a dentist appointment, which was not fun. I also got my hair highligted, which I like the color, but not the cut. I actually hate the cut. I want to grow it out, but had to cut about an inch off to get it grow.. ugh.... I don't even know what to do with it. Its so short, not me....Well, enough of that. We got home about 8 on sunday night... Monday, was not a good day for me. Tyler and I had our moments, and he was not listening........ Typical 2yr old. Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful week..

Heading to my Mom's!!

Today, we are heading to my mom's for the weekend. I am so excited. I love seeing and being with my mom. Dan has a cattle show in Huron that he helping at. I also have an awful dentist appointment, which I hate the dentist. Then I am going to get my hair cut, colored. I have been finding WHITE hairs, you heard right, I have WHITE hairs already :( I have only died or highlighted my hair once. So that is my excitement. So I best be going and getting the packing done! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend :)

Weekend Recap!

Well, its Monday. I always dread Mondays... :( This weekend was laid back and we dealt with sickness here. Dan went to the doctor on Friday and he has broncitis. I haven't been feeling well for about 3 weeks, but thought it was just cold, so today I finally went in and have broncitis and slight pnemonia. Yuck, I hate being sick. Saturday we slept in till about 10:00 I can't believe Tyler slept that long. It was nice since both Dan and I were not feeling the best. Then we decided to head to Sioux Falls to watch Dan's cousin play fastpitch softball at the state tournment. We got there during her first game of the day, but then had to take shelter because a bad storm came through. We waited in a pinic shelter at the softball diamonds to see what they were going to do for the rest of the day. They finally called all games off and was going to start games at 7:30 sunday morning. So after it stopped raining Dan and I headed to Menards, but had to clean up a mess in the car because we left our windows down some. We had a really wet car. I was so mad... Tyler went with his aunt and uncle. Then after we did our errand we headed out to his aunt and uncles and just hung out. Ordered pizza and then headed home about 10:00 that night. Sunday I slept in because I was not feeling the best. I got a total of about 2 hrs of sleep because I was coughing all night. It was not good, so yesterday was a day of relaxing and sleeping. We watched some movies that we rented on Friday. Well, that was our wonderful weekend. I hope everyone else had a great one. Have a great week!!

Update!!!

Sorry, its taken me so long to update. This weekend were had a lot of visitors. Thursday night Dan's parents came, so they could help with the sidewalk on Friday. Friday we did the sidewalk and then his parents went home and we went out for supper. Then Saturday was Dan's birthday. In the morning Tyler and him went with a friend to go get some cows hooves clipped and I had some time to myself, so I went to a garage sale and went to some stores downtown. Brookings downtown is so nice and has some nice stores. Then everyone was home about noon then we went to Cubby's (restaurant) for those that don't know. They have really good food and Dan wanted to go there because they just reopened since remodeling. It looks really nice. Then Saturday evening my mom and Ryan came to take Dan out for supper. We went to Flandreau, so he could go in the money booth and see if he could win some money. He got 27.00 from the money booth and lost about 20 in the machines. We ate there also, so while they were having fun, Tyler and my mom just hung out in the kids arcade. Then Sunday we went to the annual art festival in Brookings. It was fun, there were some nice things there and Dan found a really nice picture--hand painted that has his black cows in it. You never find black cows... Then we headed home and my mom and I went shopping, and the guys stayed home and rested. Then Dan, me, and Tyler just relaxed the rest of the night... Well, I hope everyone stays cool..

Visitors!!!

We have vistors actually coming to see us at our house. I can't believe it.. Dan's parents are coming tonight and staying over night and then Dan's dad is going to help dan tomorrow with our sidewalk. We have cement coming around 2 tomorrow. It will be so nice when that is done. i just can't believe someone is coming to see us for once. :) Well, I hope everyone enjoys the hot humid day... yuck

Church Pictures???

Last night we headed to Sioux Falls for our church pictures for their directory. We haven't been to church for a long time and I feel so bad, but now living an hour away its hard. So we had our picture taken and I have to say it was awful.... the guy took the pictures too fast, so Dan and I looked like we were on something. Then it was time to see if we wanted to order any and the lady went through the pictures and she showed us the package that was offered through the church. I told her we are not interested in any of them, she was like oh...ok bye. She wasn't happy at all. You can't tell me that is the first time she has heard the answer "NO". I do truly hate the pictures. Any way enough of that, I just thought I would share that will all of you. I guess I will check in another time..

Wow! weekend filled with Softball and Races!

WOW!! Its now Tuesday and I am finally getting to a post. This last weekend was a busy and long. Thursday was our anniversary and we went out for supper the 3 of us. Then on Friday we slept in and then went outside to work on our yard pulling out all of the stepping stones for our side walk so we can pour concrete. Boy was that hard work and Dan took the easy way out by digging them loose and me lifting them into the truck not only once, but twice. At least I was building my muscles Hahaha..Then after we were done we decided to go to Hartford to spend the fourth with Dan's aunt and uncle and cousins. His sister was there also. We went to the races and then watched the fireworks. Tyler LOVES the races. His favorite cars are the sprint cars because they go fast. Then Saturday, Dan headed back to his parents place to move cattle and do so some things in the barn. Tyler and I stayed with in Hartford and went to Jessica's softball games. We were at the softball fields in Sioux Falls a little after 7:30 and didn't leave until about 5 that night. It was a long day. Then went to the races that night and Tyler was excited because his Sprint Cars were going to be there. Then Sunday we got up early to go to Jessica's game. We were there about 7:30 and we left about 9:30 because they lost their first game. Then we ran some errands and then Dan met us for a brunch and we headed to Menard's to get some things for the house. We then went back to Hartford and Tyler was sleeping, so we left him sleeping so we all took a nap. We then decided to take Tyler to the races in Brandon. He loved the seeing all the sprint cars. He has never been to the races here and he did very well. So we got home late!! So this weekend we didn't get much sleep, but it was fun. I have two pictures that I took from my phone, but haven't sent them to my e-mail. I will try and do that soon. I hope everyone has a wonderful Day!!

Happy Anniversary!!

Today, is our 4th anniversary. I just want to say I don't know what I would do without Dan. He means the world to me. I know I don't express my feelings all time, but I truly love you with all of my heart. I can't believe we have been married for 4 years and we have many more to come. We have been through a lot and the only way we got through it all was because we had each other. I just wanted to wish my husband a Happy Anniversary!!!! Love you very much :)

Busy Busy......

Well, here it is already Wednesday and I haven't even posted before today since last week. Well, these last three days I subbed at work for summer school because a teacher was gone. Its been nice because I gave me something to do. This last weekend we just stayed home. We did have a visitor on Saturday, my dad came back for some classes for work. He is going to be here all this week and then go back home this Sunday. It was sure nice to see him and spend time with him. Tyler was his shadow. Sunday was a day that we went through our shed and got rid of a bunch of things and organized it better. Then that night we took Tyler to a park, which I forgot my camera :(. He had so much fun. He enjoyed the rock climbing wall, which made me a nervous because it was soooooo tall. He did it all by himself. I was surprised and amazed. This weekend we are going to Sioux Falls to run some errands on Saturday and see my dad before he leaves. Then Sunday Tyler has b-day part to go to, so that will be fun. Recap!

Well, here it is Tuesday already. Time is flying by! This last weekend Dan, Tyler, and I had to go to his parents place to breed cows and house sit. His parents and sister were at Winstock for the concerts. I had to play farm girl, which for most of you know that is just not me. It was quite interesting. There was one cow that me and her didn't see eye to eye. We had some issues. Well, we finally got done on Sunday morning breeding cows. Saturday I mowed for my in-laws and Dan's grandma's place. I got a nice tan out of the deal. Then Sunday his parents came home and we had a early supper for Fathers day. It was sure nice to get back home. I have some recent pictures of Tyler, so enjoy!

Weekend Recap!

Over the weekend Tyler and I left Friday afternoon to go to my mom's for the Wheel Jam, which is a car and semi show. It was a lot of fun. Dan clipped cattle and then came over on Sat. and then had to go to Highmore for work. He finally joined us Sat. afternoon. Going back to Friday night, we went out for supper with some of my mom and Ryan's friends then went to the battle of the bands, which was very loud. We came home and got up on Sat. and went to the parade, which was of the cars and semi's. Tyler's favorite was the semi trucks. There were some really nice ones. Then Sat. night Tyler, my mom, and I went over to her boss's for a barbecue, which was fun. Tyler had fun playing. The guys went to the races, Tyler wanted to go, but the tickets were like 18.00 too much!! Then Sunday we went back to the car show to see more cars and then ran some errands. Sunday went by so fast! We were home about 7:00-7:30. We were busy this weekend and it was fun. I hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Good News!! Finally :)

I had to have my blood taken on Tuesday to see where my progesterone level is. I got a call today (Thursday) from my doctor. My level was at 10.5 and now is at 23.5, which is awesome.. Its suppose to be 15 or higher, so I am extremely happy and so is my doctor. I have 5 more months on the 100mg with clomid. They are sure that I am going to get pregnant before 5 months, which is exciting. I will keep everyone updated and keep your prayers and fingers crossed. Maybe it will be this last month, we will wait and see :)

Yeah!!!

Its Wednesday already!

I can't believe its Wednesday already. This week I think is going fast. Monday Tyler and I went to see my mom because our dog Sammy had a vet appointment. It was a check-up, but she hasn't feeling well either. I knew her back legs were not in good shape, and they are just getting worse as she gets older. Her knee caps are in the inside, so she is in pain. Surgery would help her knees, but its very expensive surgery and depends on who you ask, if you ask my husband he would say absolutely NO.. I am torn, so not sure what I am going to do. Sammy would have surgery in Sioux Falls under a orthopedic for dogs of course. This last weekend we stayed home Friday night, Saturday Tyler and I stayed home for most of the day because Dan had to work. Then we rode with Dan to go get a lift at a job site in Marshall. We then decided to go to the races in Hartford, plus his uncle works at the race track so we get free tickets which is really nice. Then Tyler was a Junior fan, so he got a trophy and his picture taken with two race cars, he was scared, but he did fine when I was there. He was sure proud of his trophy, I will post a picture soon with him and his trophy. Sunday we ran errands in Sioux Falls, made a trip to Menard's and then Sam's. We spent a lot of money at both, but we expected that. Well, that is about it for us. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

We had a blast/Update

We had a fun time camping last weekend. It was a little cold, but we did get one hot day. Tyler went swimming on Sunday, which he had a blast. He loves to go camping. This weekend we are going stay home and relax. Hopefully the weather is nice, so we can play outside. I will put some pictures up soon of Tyler.

An update on the baby topic, they increased my fertility pill to 100mg, which we are hoping this month is the month, but we will see. Last month my hormone level went to 10.4 from 6.4, so that was good. I was able to carry a baby at that level, but so such luck. We are keeping our fingers crossed for this next month.

Going Camping!!

This long weekend we are going camping in Adrian, MN. We are going with Dan's aunt and uncle and some of their friends then Dan's parents will there. Then Dan invited some of his friends to go camping with us too, so it should be a great time. I wish it was a better forecast for the weekend, but what is new. Big Weekend!

Well, we have been without Internet because Mediacom had some issues. Finally we are back and running. This last weekend was a busy and exciting weekend. My mom got married on Friday,which a fun event. It was very busy. I have one picture of them by their hot rod car!! We visited with family, my aunt and uncle were back from California, so it was nice to see them. Tyler did an excellent job being the ring bearer. He was something else. At the hotel he sure enjoyed swimming! On Sunday we met up with my dad in Sioux falls, since he was back for my cousins graduation. We went miniature golfing at Thunder road. It was Tyler's first time golfing. He had a great time. I have some pictures from the weekend that I will share. Until later have a great week.

Busy Weekend!

Well, I had an ok mothers day. Tyler wished me a Happy mothers day. I am off to spend time with my mom this weekend. I haven't been back home for a long time, so it will be nice to spend time with her. Well, not much is happening. I am so glad school is done. The weather is finally nice today-about time!! Mother's Day weekend!

Its Mother's day weekend and we have a busy one. Tonight, we are going to Sioux Falls to spend time with Matt and Sandy and we may go to the races in Hartford pending on the weather. Then Saturday my mom is coming and we are spending the day together, which will be fun. We are getting our nails done for fun! Then I think we are heading to Dan's mom's Sat. night and then spending time with his family part of Sunday then coming home. Its May!!

Well, here we are its May and the weather people are saying SNOW!! Come on people its May there should be NO SNOW! Well, enough of the complaining. I am done with school for the semester. I just have a few assignments left to turn in by Monday. I am so glad that I am done. Things have been busy with us me finishing school dan VERY busy at work, which is good, but he is feeling the stress. Tyler is growing and talking and talking more each day. He is so smart... smarter then I thought. He is suprising us everyday with new things he comes up with. About two weeks ago we bought Tyler a play system from Manards, so now we have to put it all together, which is our plan this weekend depending on the weather. We were suppose to do it last weekend, but since it decided to dump 15 inches of snow on us we didn't get it done. Well, that is all for now, until later everyone have a great weekend.

So EXCITED!!!

I know its been awhile... I just wanted to share good news with everyone...For those of you that know we are trying for another one, but NO LUCK.. My good news is I PASSED my teaching exam, so I am going to graduate and become a teacher. I am so happy and shocked!! I was hoping I would pass :)... We have been busy with everything going on. Our weekends are packed full. Last weekend we went to Sioux Falls and got a Tyler a swing set from Menard's, but now Dan has to cut the wood and put it together.. Tyler doesn't have patience, he wants to climb and slide :) Dan is busy at work and I am busy with finishing the semester. Going back to the pregnant thing, we have been trying for 7 months, so I decided I better go to the doctor because I just felt there was something wrong. My progesterone level was at a 6.5 and its suppose to be at a 15 or higher, so they put me on a fertility drug called Clomid.. (bare with me on spelling). I can be on this for 6 months straight and then I have to go off. I have to go in for a monthly check up, but if it helps I don't care. We are praying... The doctor told me that I only have to worry about twins and no more than 2 at a time, so that was good, but seriously Twins, I would go insane :) Well, I think I covered all the new things that are going on with us. Its been A LONG time!!

So its been a long time since my last post. This is horrible of me... Well, for a recap we have been a busy family. Over Easter my dad was here, so that was nice to see him. Then the following weekend it was Pub Crawl in Brookings, which is a drunk fest, which I didn't participate in, but my husband did with some friends. I spent time with a friend and my dad. Then This last weekend we had wedding back at Dan's parents place, he was a usher in his cousin's wedding. It was a good time.. This weekend Dan decided to take an AI class on how to breed cows without using a real bull... don't really want to go into more detail, its kinda gross.. So I decided to ride along with him, which its by Columbia, Missouri... Long ways, not looking forward to it. At least our hotel room is close to the mall... I can shop while he is in class.. The one thing that may stop us is this nasty WINTER Weather we are having... Its April..... I hope in a way we get to go, so we have a chance to be together just the two of us.. Tyler is going to be with a friend of ours and then she is meeting my mom on Friday and then bring him back to meet up with our friend on Sunday.. Tyler will have fun with Grandma.. Speaking of Tyler.. this week he had the flu and strep throat... So he has been home from daycare for a day and half.. He seems to be feeling better today... Tomorrow he will go back to daycare for a short time.. Well, I sure hope I didn't forget anything... Sorry, its been awhile.. I will try and post more often.. Hopefully later I will post some recent pictures of Tyler. Until later... stay warm and there is a good reason to stay inside...

WOW....blogger ugh...

So I have tried to post many times and blogger was not letting me. Its been a long time and plus it doesn't help when I don't have a computer. I am hoping it gets here sometime this week. I have been busy with school, work, and home life. This week is spring break and it is nice to have a break... I will be working the whole break, but the money is nice and we could use some :)... Tyler if fighting a cold and testing our patients.., but what is new. Dan has been busy with work. This month is flying by and before we know it summer will be here.. Yeah!!! Other than that there is not much going on... I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Until later take care.

So Much!!

Well...Well... Its been awhile since I have posted. So much has been going on. Lets see I have been super busy with school... its never ending. I got my haircut again and DON'T LIKE IT... Its the shortest I have ever got it.... hopefully it will grow fast, but of course not it won't because I want it to. Tyler is doing good, he has been whining lately, so hopefully he grows out of that. We added fish and two frogs to our household. Tyler loves frogs.. So we got him some small swimming frogs.. i will have to take a picture of our new addition. The reason why I haven't posted is because my computer crashed, so I am without a computer and going to be pulling some all nighters because I have to wait till Dan gets home to use his work computer. :( I am so mad because I didn't learn from the first time it happen to me, so I lost things.. I guess I learn the hard way not only once but twice. Tyler won't have much for pictures :(.. We ended up buying a external hard drive this weekend.. We also ordered a new lap top for me :)... Why do things break at the wrong time... Well, I hope everybody is enjoying the warmer weather... Until next time.. take care..

Yeah Its Friday!!

Happy Friday to all! I still have not been able to go back to school, because I still have some sympotoms, but feel fine. I am going to work today, so it will nice to get somewhat of a routine back. This weekend is busy. Dan has a cattle show here in town, so his sister, mom, heather, and grandma are coming. We are going to have a house full.. not sure where we are going to put everybody, but oh well.. Saturday Tyler and I are going to my mom's to hang out since we didn't see her last weekend for her birthday. I do have to do some homework sometime this weekend since I missed a week of school :(... I hate playing catch up.. Well, that is all for now, so until Monday everybody have a great weekend and I think we are entering a heat wave :)

Tuesday already!

Well here it is Tuesday already... I am still not feeling the best and hope to get well soon! I am tired of being sick. The last two days all I have been doing is sleeping. I was unable to go to class today and hopefully be able to go tomorrow. This last weekend, Dan did get sick on Friday and was home from work. His was just a 24hr thing since he was on the med. early. I think it was too late for me to take med, so that is why it is taking me so long to recover. We just stayed home and relaxed all weekend. Tyler was the only one that didn't get sick :) thankfully... I hope it stays that way. Well, until later this week. I hope everyone has a good one.

My moms birthday was yesterday. We were suppose to be together, but since I was sick we couldn't be. I called her and wished her a happy birthday, but it wasn't the same verses saying it in person. Happy Valentines Day!!

Happy Valentines Day!! My v-day could have been better. I was diagnosed with Influenza A. Not fun! So I am out until Tuesday and Wednesday. I don't wish this on anybody. You feel like you got ran over by a semi.... Well, I hope everybody has a wonderful Valentines Day and stay healthy. oh by the way Dan got me a dozen roses :) my first dozen :)

Not Good!

Last night and today I have not been feeling well. I have been exposed to Influenza A many times, since I teach in two preschools. There were two student teachers out today, and I was not feeling well and should of went home, but I stuck it out. They cancelled our room for preschool tomorrow because there are 4 of us that are out. I am going to the doctor tomorrow to see what I have. It could be influenza A or strep or who knows what. I can't even explain how I feel... my body just aches so bad, headache, deep cough, sore throat, running nose, tired :(.... So I guess I expalined how I felt..hehehe I will keep all of you updated. I just hope Tyler or Dan don't get this because its not fun. I can't afford to be sick and out for a week :(, but what do you do..... Everybody try and stay healthy and warm..

Exhausted!!

WOW! I am so glad its Friday. This week has been so busy and its been non stop. I get up around 6 A.M. and don't stop until about 10:30-11 or even later. Its been awful. My body needs some sleep. I took on some extra hours/day this week at work because they had a ocean beach party, which was fun, but hard and a lot of work. This weekend my mom is coming and just me and her are going to Sioux Falls to go shopping, which I am looking forward to. Its been a long time since its just been me and her without Tyler. I should stay home and work on homework, but I guess I can take a little break. Sunday will be homework all day. I have to get 4 e-foilo's done by monday, plus a bunch of other things. Student teaching in the preschool is NOT fun! I can't wait to be done. Well, enough of me I hope everyone has a great weekend and try and stay warm! :)

Recap!!

Here it is Monday already and the weather is like blizzard conditions, so Monday morning didn't start off too great. The weekend went by so fast. We all are still trying to get better, it just seems like it wants to be with us forever :(. Friday, we grabbed something to eat and rented some movies. Saturday we decided to run errands in Sioux Falls, but without Tyler. So we called Dan's Aunt and Uncle to see if Tyler could spend the day with them. We never get time just the two of us, so it was nice to have an afternoon just the two of us. After we got done with our errands we headed home and made a grocery list so we could stop at Wal-Mart before we went home. We just needed to get some things for our super-bowl party. Sunday was a day that I just wanted to sleep, but I didn't get to do that, Dan watched a movie in the morning and then we cleaned house and made our things for our party. I did some homework in between, but didn't get much done :(.. Couple of my friends came over, so it was a good time. I was cheering for the Giants, because the Patriots always win, so it was nice to see the underdog team win. After the game it was time to go to bed! This morning was so hard to get up... Mondays are always hard for me :) or I guess every morning is :) :).. I hope everybody had a great weekend! Stay warm!

New week... not so good :(

Well, its a new week and its not going the best. My car has been acting up, so I took it in and they replaced the belt, but the noise when I start it up they think is my power steering, but they couldn't get it to not do that noise :(... It only does it when its COLD!! So my money down the drain, when it didn't fix the problem.. Another problem is that I have been suffering with a cold or a sinus infection. I finally went in after a month of suffering. I have a severe sinus infection. She put me on an antibiotic, so I hope it works. The worse part is that I can't hear out of my left ear.. Its horrible and annoying when you can't hear out of one hear. I am hoping it goes away soon. The doctor said 10 days or more.. I am hoping maybe in 3 days.. Well, Tyler is still suffering from a cold, so I am hoping soon he will feel better. Dan I think has a sinus infection also, so we are not doing so well. I hope everybody has a great rest of the week! I will keep you posted.

The week is OVER!!

Whew!!! I think that is how you spell it?? I am so glad its the weekend. It has been a long stressful week. Tonight, I have to do two home visits for my students and then Tyler and I are going to my friends house to spend the weekend. Dan is going back home to put a patio door in for his brother. We are hoping to be home Sat. night sometime. Then Sunday is dedicated to homework and housework :( It will be nice to be home together. We won't know how to act. I hope everybody has a great weekend and hopefully its warm :)

Poor Sammy!

Stress does affect how you think and causes you to forget what is going on and what your doing... Last night I let Sammy outside around 8:30 and then Tyler needed something and then I got him the bath and then had to call parents to set up home visits... I was curious where Sammy was.. sometimes she is is on the couch under the blankets or under the bed... Then all of sudden I was getting ready to go to bed and walked by the porch and Said Oh My GOD!! I forgot about Sammy!! She was outside for about 2hrs... I am a HORRIBLE pet owner... I was crying... I have NEVER done that. Sammy is doing fine, but was really really COLD!! I felt so bad... I hate being this stressed out!!! WOW!! I need to take a breathe!! :) Enough of my life... Stressed/Frazzled!!

Well, an update on our family. I am feeling stressed and frazzled!! Student teaching, other classes, working, mother, and wife... Its all coming to all at once. Dan made it back home Sunday night around 8:30. Tyler wasn't sure what to think.. He said Hi Daddy, but didn't go to him.. It took him awhile to go to him..Then Dan is getting cattle ready (clipping, grooming etc..) for two other people. He has about four to get ready. He did two last night, which he didn't make home until 1-1:30AM and he is gone tonight also, so he will be home late again. I have night class on Tuesday from 4-7, so trying to find a babysitter is frustrating. Dan is also leaving Thursday night to go stay with his aunt and uncle because he has to help out at the S.F. cattle show Friday morning, so we won't see much of each other this week. This weekend we are both doing something different, so I guess that is life! Just busy..busy... I will be so glad when this week is over... For school-since I am student teaching in the SDSU preschool we have four students we are in charge of and we do projects with, so in the beginning we have to do home visits and that is what I have been doing and trying to set up.. Let me just say they are interesting and out of my comfort zone..WOW! what a week. I will end with some pictures!!

This picture was taken about two weeks ago... This is Tyler's version of setting the table!!! :) :) He got the paper plates himself and went over to our table and started setting the table. It was cute!!

Update on Tyler!!

Tyler is finally back to daycare today.. I had the day off yesterday from school and work. He is still sick and has a bad cough, but hopefully on the road to recovery. He fever finally broke Saturday night. Well, I have no idea what has got into Tyler lately. Saturday he decided to throw horrible tantrums over nothing.. They would be worse if he got in trouble. I would be him in time-out, but its not working the best. For the most part he does sit there, but there are times he gets up and runs to his room.. frustrating.. He is NOT listening and I am to the point where I am yelling and I don't like to, but I am so frustrated at that point. Yelling is obviously not working... Enough of that... So that is what is going on in Tyler's world!!

Doesn't want to go away :(

Tyler is still sick today... He still has a fever :(.. He didn't have one this morning and he slept through the night last night, so I hope we are on the road to recovery. Then as the day went on his fever would come and go and just increase. He slept most of day!! It did go up this evening, which its at 101.8, so I hoping soon it goes away... He is refusing medicine, so its been hard. He did let me give him some Motrin tonight, so I felt better about that. He hasn't ate much :( I did get him to some chicken nuggets tonight, but they were from McDonald's :).. I felt so bad because I had to go to Wal-mart to get some school things and all he wanted to do was lay on my shoulder, but tomorrow is suppose to be even colder.. :( I am so happy that I have a good friend that has helped me out so much this week. Today,I am thankful that my mother-in-law came and watched Tyler until about 12:30 until my friend came.. I don't know what I would of done, oh wait I do know..... I would of been home and had to miss school and work...I hope everybody keeps warm this weekend.. I will keep everybody posted on how Tyler is doing.. I hope by Monday he is better.. Dan comes home sometime Sunday.. who knows though that may change.

Doctors???????

Okay, so I had to bring Tyler into the Doctor Wednesday. I just knew they would say its just a VIRUS. I was not leaving until I got something, so she told me to see how the night went. Welll, he didn't sleep the night before. So she just listened to his lungs, heart, and stomach and looked at his throat. Everthing looks fine.... ugh... His cough is what is keeping him up. So I just gave him the med Wed. night well, it didn't work he was up 3 times. He was cough so hard that he was crying that it hurt and choking. I was so mad... Today, he is just getting worse. His temp is up to almost 102 and all he wants is to be held and he cries over the littlest things.. Remember its just me, dan is in Denver.. Today, was the first day of school sigh.... I am so overwhelmed and stressed. I don't know how single parents do it... All power to them... My mother-in-law was able to help me out in the morning tomorrow (Friday) then my friend is coming to relieve her at 1.... What a relief..Oh ya, I called the doctor back tonight and said what was going on, but the nurse said if its not a 105 we don't worry about the temp.. and since the med we got hasn't worked is because its a VIRUS.. I don't like that word. She pretty much told me to keep doing what I am doing, but seriously my son is not in good shape.. if he isn't better by Sat. I am taking him to Sioux Falls and if there is soemthing other than a VIRUS I will not be a happy camper. Well, enough of my problems. I hope everybody is keeping warm.. I will keep you posted. I am hoping we get some sleep tonight, but it looks like not.. :(... I just wish I could take it away from him. Have a good one!!

Tyler sick :(

On Sunday Tyler woke up with a bad cough, so we have been treating him with over the counter cold/cough meds, well there not working. If we take him in they will just say its just a virus it has to run its course... I hate that saying... He is just getting worse and running a slight fever. He won't be going to daycare tomorrow or Thursday, which brings a problem because Dan leaves for Denver, CO for a cattle show and won't return until Sunday. Dan isn't showing he is just going with his friend and my do some clipping on some cattle while he is there.. I start school Thursday morning bright and early at 7:45. Not sure what I will be doing for a babysitter.... Never fails when one of us has something planned something always happens... I am hoping one of my friends can watch him in the morning.. thankfully I don't have to work Thursday. One of my friends is watching him tomorrow for me... I am hoping to get him to the doctor tomorrow after work, but since he as to be on medicine for 24hrs before going back to daycare.. he won't be able to go on Thursday and its not fair to Tyler when he doesn't feel good.. :( Dan took some pictures of our little sick child :(

Christmas with Grandpa Bob

This last weekend we were busy having Christmas with my Dad (Grandpa Bob). We sure enjoyed our short time with him. He came back for his work Christmas party, so we celebrated our Christmas with him and my grandma. Tyler got lots of Thomas the Train things and he sure enjoys them.. He plays with them constantly.. :) I have some pictures to share and will put them up soon. We sure miss him lots!! Tyler was counting down to when he got to see his Grandpa Bob it was sure cute to listen to him. Check back soon for pictures......

Getting Ready!

Yesterday, I took Tyler to daycare for the morning so I could sign papers at my new job. My first day is Friday (Jan 11). I am excited, but yet nervous. The first day of a new job is always interesting. Then next Thursday school finally starts. I have been kinda lost without having to do homework. I know I will not want homework once we start. Other than that Tyler and I have been just hanging out.. I hope everybody enjoys the rest of the week.

Relaxing!

For the last few days I have been just relaxing and resting when I have time. When you lose a lot of sleep it hits you hard on the second to third day. I still think I am nuts, but at least we got one and we are having fun playing it. Tyler has been clinging and whining lately, so not sure what is up with him. He didn't eat supper last night, but seems to be eating better today. I hope everybody is enjoying the nice weather.. That is all for now...

Crazy Adventure!!! I am NUTS!!!

Boy did I have a crazy adventure late Saturday night into Sunday morning. Dan and I talked about getting an Nintendo Wii....



I was the one that really wanted one. We have NEVER played one, but we heard from our friends that its awesome..so we knew that we would want one and they are hard to get.. My friend Ashley called me Sat. afternoon and she said they go on sale at the East side Wal-mart in Sioux Falls at midnight meaning Sunday...so I decided to leave Brookings at 8:30 PM and I arrived in Harrisburg around 9:30 and we left about 9:45 and we were at the walmart at 10:00.. we got where they were selling them and there were four chairs out and they were already taken... they only got 4 in.. so since Ashley and I had called around town to see who was getting them in the Wal-mart on the West of Sioux Falls was releasing them at 8 in the morning, so we booked it over there and we called while we were on our way.. We got there about 10:30PM and there were already 2 people in line. There was an elderly lady there at 8:00 to make sure she got it.. So we decided we were going to park it for the night.. We spent the night in Wal-mart.. I watied for 10 hours.. to get this thing... I am nuts/crazy.. I had my camera with me, so we took some pictures of our adventure.. we met a really nice guy that was at the other Wal-mart so he came over to the other one right after us... We FINALLY got them around 8:15 and they only had 5 and me and Ashley were 3 & 4.. We went out for breakfast and then headed home.. it was a long drive back to Brookings. Then I got home about 10:30 and Dan and Tyler was excited that I was home. We then headed to Wal-mart in Brookings to get a few things.. I called Brookings a couple days ago and yesterday and last night to see when they were getting them in and they would say a word about when.. "some time today" Watertown was selling there's at noon..so we were prepared to go wherever.. We set it up and played our new fun Wii and it is AWESOME... it was worth it.... I went to bed around 2:30 and woke up about 5:30.... not much sleep :( oh well... I will include some pictures of our adventure....

I just want to say Congrats to my friend from high school Melissa and Andy!! They had a baby boy named Parker Gene yesterday Jan. 3.. I wish them best, which we are planning on going to see them tonight :)(Friday)

Well, here it is Friday. I finally have pictures that I have been promising. I don't have any christmas pictures, but will get them when I get the throw away camera used up and develop them :) So I have some other pictures for you to see.
