I hope everybody is having a great New Years Eve. We decided to stay home and just relax since we have been on the road for the last week. We were going to go to a friends house in Sioux Falls, but decided to just stay home and stay WARM!! Dan hasn't been home much, so it was nice to have just some family time. We went out for supper and then just played with Tyler.. My birthday was a great time spent with my family and my mom. We got a new camera this weekend, so that is fun and now I will be able to take pictures and post some :).. We wish everyone a Happy New Year!!

Back home safely!!!
Wow!!! What a long weekend. We headed to my moms in Huron, Sat. morning and we did some running around (shopping). I had an excitement, chopping my hair off.. picture coming soon. Sunday we relaxed and watched a movie we rented. Then went and looked at lights, Tyler enjoyed, but fell asleep fast. Monday (Christmas Eve) My mom made her homemade cinn. roles... they were the best and good.. Then my mom and I ran some errands...last minute things. We came home and had our supper and then got ready to go to church.. We then came home and opened presents. Santa came was very good to us. Tyler got lots of toys and other things... I will take a picture of him of one of the items he got...later, we have no camera.. We then went to bed late and got up early to be on the road to go to Dan's side in Rushmore, MN... We woke up to bad weather... We ate some breakfast and then headed and the roads were not that great... We made it to Brookings to unload and thought the interstate would be better, but it wasn't, it was worse then highway 14.. We saw so many accidents and we had a hard time stopping at one point.. very nerve racking... We made it safe to MN and then left to go home last night and it was not the best going home. The interstate was better going to Brookings on the way home then it was earlier.. We had Christmas with Dan's mom and dad, and siblings, then with both sets of grandparents. We received many things and we appreciate all of them and thank everybody for all the gifts. Pictures to come soon... we have to go buy a camera hopefully by the end of this week... :)
Have a great rest of Week!! I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas...

Yeah!! Friday
Well, its Friday today and thank goodness. I don't have class on Friday's so its nice to just stay home with Tyler. Tyler has been quite the character, he doesn't want to listen and thinks he is funny when he doesn't. Our dog Sammy is sick today and not sure what is going on with her. She can barely walk and is shivering and very hot. She has bad legs, so I gave her some pain med, and called the vet and I am suppose to monitor and if she doesn't get better then take her in. I hope she gets better. Tyler is so mean to her, so it doesn't surprise me because he pulls on her legs, and we get after him, but he just doesn't listen. Well, this weekend we are going Christmas shopping Sat. and sat. afternoon Dan's uncle is the fire chief in Hartford and Santa is coming, so we are going to see him. We are also going to go see Santa in the mall to get his picture taking (we do it every year)! He was afraid of Santa last year, so we shall see. We will then spend the night in Hartford and then bake Christmas cookies on Sunday, its Dan's tradition every year. His mom side gets together and bakes. I will be working on homework, last week of classes :). Oh ya, I got the job that I was talking about earlier, so I am happy about that. Well, I hope everybody has a wonderful weekend and stay warm!!

Doctor Visit!!
Today, (Tuesday) was my post-op visit to the doctor. I brought the pictures that they took and had the doctor explain them, which was interesting. I talked about where we go from here. My doctor informed that I have a significant amount of problems that is just going against me. He told me that my endometriosis is already starting to come back, so that really sucks, but I guess you live with it. I talked to him about having another child and he gave me 6-8 months to try and hopefully succeed within the next few months because my chances are so low and we may not be able to get pregnant, but my doctor told me if we try right away my chances are better. We will cross our fingers.... It was an interesting day.... I did start my installations for my bladder condition today and continue them for 6 weeks/once a week. Those are not fun!! Well, I wish everybody a great week.

Vikings Game!!!
Well, Sunday we went to the Vikings Game and it was our first NFL game. I am not a Vikings fan, but it was fun to see them play. It was Dan's Christmas party, so we took a charter bus up there, which was interesting. It was a long day!! The game was a blow out, which I wish it was closer, but its nice that they won! I did cheer for the Lions, but the people in front of me said something, but I didn't care. It was funny!! They were nice to me and teasing me. Well, I will post pictures later, so check back and see the pictures. There taken far away, so I hope they turn out.
Take care, I hope everybody survived the snow storm on Saturday. We got about 6 inches :( I hate snow.

End of week!!
Happy snow fall to you!! We had our first little snow fall last night. This week has been busy with school and just running errands. Last night (Thursday) Tyler and I headed to Huron because I had a dentist appointment. The roads were ok, but the visibility was not the greatest. It got better as I got closer to Huron. I came out ok with the dentist I had to have 3 cavities filled, but this time I had gas given to me and I think I will request from now on, because it helped out a lot. I had the dentist and I get so tense. I am done with that and now on to the weekend. Tonight we are cleaning house because my mom and Ryan are coming tomorrow (sat.) because Dan has his Christmas Part on Sunday. We are going to a Vikings Game. We take up a luxury charter bus leaving at 6 A.M. Sunday :( oh well, it will be fun. So will enjoy spending time with Grandma and Ryan. Saturday will be a homework day and some shopping with mom. Until Monday everybody have a great weekend and stay warm...

Happy Belated Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving!! I know this is a little late, but this is my only time that I could get on this and wish everybody a Happy Thanksgiving. We went to my grandmas in Sioux Falls for dinner, which was really good. We got to see my dad's family. We sure missed my dad though, he was unable to make it!! I just want to make sure he knows that we missed him! Then we were off to Dan's parents place since we were going to the cities to watch his sister cheer for the football champion game at the metrodome. Unfortunately they lost, but it was nice to see her cheer. Tyler sure enjoyed watching the football game and he aunt cheer. He was even cheering with her. Today, (Sat.) we headed home and thank god we did because I got the touch of the flu, which is not fun. Tyler may have a touch of it too, so pepto(spelling ???) has been my friend. I am hoping I start to feel better tomorrow. Well, that is about it here!! I hope everybody had/has a wonderful holiday weekend!!

On the Road Weekend!!
Well, the weekend is over and now on to a short week. Yahoo!!! On Thursday we were off to Dan's parents to go the cities on Friday for his sister's football game. Well, I had some homework that I had to finish and should of been done, but one group member decided to not do their part and I had to get mad that night and she still didn't get it done, so I had to stay up till about 2:00 A.M. to finish and finally got to bed and fell asleep at 2:30 A.M. so I got a total of about an hour and half of sleep :(.... Not happy! We made it to the cities and watched Sadie cheer, which was fun, but the game was boring 21-0.. They beat an undefeated team and we were 10-2, so it was an upset to the opposing team. So Sadie's football team is back to the Metrodome on Friday the day after Thanksgiving to play for the champion. We decided to go and support her and Dan wanted to go because the other two times that his home team made it they came in second, so he knows if he doesn't go they will win and he will be a little upset. We are going to go the Mall of America I hope.... Its going to be a zoo, but oh well. This week I have just been busy with homework and school. I do have a job interview tomorrow (Tuesday) at a church preschool for the teacher assistant position. This will be for next semester. It may be crazy next semester, but I can' handle it. I have done hours at this preschool before, so I hope I get it because this is an awesome place to work and to have a child in preschool there. The people there are so good with the children. Well, I will keep you all informed. I hope everybody has a wonderful short week!!

Back to Reality!!
So I realized that I haven't posted for awhile. Well, this last weekend my mom came on Friday and stayed till Sunday night. I always enjoy my mom coming we have so much fun. She helped with the housework and Dan had some projects that he wanted to get done. He got all of them done. I tried to relax, but helped mom some. I did have to work on some homework because I went back to school Tuesday :(.... Ever since I went back its been non stop with school work... meeting with groups... get homework done. Well, that is life of a student. Not much left with the semester. Other than that nothing much else going on. This weekend we are headed to the cities to see Dan's sister cheer in the dome for high school football pre-finals. She is a cheerleader and her football team made it. We have that on Friday.. Thursday we are headed to the in-laws and then coming home Saturday night because I have tons of homework to get done before Thanksgiving. We won't be staying long in the cities :(... Well, I suppose I better get to bed. I will try and share some pictures of Tyler tomorrow of what he did the other day.... interesting... For as my health.. I am just taking it day by day... still not feeling the best, but doing ok.... Well, take care and have a great rest of week...

Called Doctor
Well, I haven't been feeling the best and thought I better call the doctor and ask some questions. I asked if I should be in a lot of pain still and it hurt to go to the bathroom (just what you wanted to know). Then I found out more about what I had done. The nurse informed me that I had a major surgery and they did a lot of things to me. She said it will take a long time to heal. Then I found out that my interstitial cystitis is going into stage 4, which is the worse stage, so that was not fun to hear. She told me that the piece that tried to to take off was built up scar tissue. For my bladder problem there isn't anything they can do to help it sides give me some meds that cause hair loss :(... Then she called in more pain med. and asked how much I was taking and I said that it wasn't really doing much, and I was only taking 1 every 4 hours and she said that I could take 2 every 4 hours. I did that today and it helped some and it made me tired, so I took a nap. Once that pain med wares off I am back to where I was before. If the pain med wasn't working they wanted to see me. She had to keep telling me that I had a major surgery and they did a lot to me and that I am suppose to take it easy and not to life heavy things. I am a person that just wants to do things on my own, so this is hard. On top of all of this my face has been breaking out or something, but its extremely red and has like sore spots all over my face and is really dry. I am to the point where I don't even want to go anywhere. Not sure what is going on there. I called for a dermatologist appointment and I can't get in until Dec. 14.... I wish I could get in earlier. Enough of my problems. I hope everybody else is doing good. I just wish I had a magic wand!! Well, I hope everybody is keep warm.... winter is around the corner :( snow can stay away... Have a great rest of week.

Halloween!!!
Happy Late Halloween!!!
Tyler enjoyed Halloween!! I have been busy with homework and trying to get everything done before surgery. Tyler was a pumpkin this year. He had fun. He wore his costume to daycare and then went trick n treating that night in Hartford at Dan's Aunt and Uncle with his cousins. We decided to go up the night before, so we wouldn't have to get up that early. I know this is late, but I wanted to share.

Surgery Results!!
Hello to all....
Its been quite a road these past few days. Last Thursday Nov. 1 was my surgery for my endometrosis. Dan and I arrived at the hospital around 5:30 A.M. we got checked in and they started getting me hooked up to everything. My anesthesiologists guy was pretty goofy... Dan and I looked at each other and thought he must of took his goofy pill this morning. The hard part was trying to find my veins and he did a good job better than I expected. The nurse didn't even try because I just have really hard veins that don't like to be found.:) Once I got into the surgery room it was around 7:15 A.M. they got me settled in and the nurse person came in to put me to sleep. All I remember is that I am giving you some medicine and I said Ok... and I was out and remember waking up around 9:22 or so. I woke up a little emotional, because I over heard a nurse talking about what they found. My first thought was I wouldn't be able to have more children. My ovaries and fallopian tubes are good. The doctor found lots of endometrosis and then they detached a big piece from my bladder, not sure what it was. They filled me with lots of fluid to make sure the piece from my bladder didn't reattach. They did a lot of lazoring. Everything came out good, so that is great. The recovering is long and slow, but it will be better soon. Its been tough lately because I can't lift Tyler for about a week, so that has been hard. I have to keep showing him and telling him about my owies. He has been a great help. This week I am off from school, so just taking it easy. I wish everybody a great week.

Colonoscopy Results!
Sorry, its been taking me so long to post. Its been a week since my last post. Last Friday I went in for a colonoscopy and found out its hemorrhoids causing me problems. There not big enough to zap, so I just have to treat them when they flare up. (Yuck) At least its nothing serious. The worse part about the whole thing was drinking a GALLON of gross water. I had a hard time keeping that stuff down. I got 6 glasses down and I couldn't do it anymore and felt that I think that is good enough. I was suppose to drink 11 glasses that equalled a gallon. Next time if I have to have one I will ask for pills. I had a hard time coming out of the anesthesia, but that is nothing new with me. I usually get sick really bad like vommititng and nausea. I did get nausea, but not as bad because they didn't give me a whole a lot it. Well, enough of that. This past week I have been busy with school and trying to get everything done. I have to meet with groups, which I hate group work.... because its hard to get together. I wish we could pick our own groups. Other than busy with that. Nothing too much is going on. My next major thing is my Surgery next Thursday Nov. 1. That will be an interesting surgery meaning what they find and how much thing are going on in my body.
Tonight, Dan and Tyler are going back to his parents place to get cows for the cattle show in Miller, SD. The cattle show is tomorrow and then taking the cows back and then coming home late tomorrow night. I am staying home and working on homework :( I have so much and I don't even no where to begin. I have to have all my things done before Nov. 1 and then the week after that. I have a lot ahead of me. Well, I hope everything is going good for everybody else. I hope everybody has a great weekend!!!

Tyler being Goofy!!
Here are two pictures that I caught Tyler in a silly act. The first picture he put his favorite shoes, but one of each pair.. :) The second picture: He thought it would be cool to put daddy's socks on. It was cute. He did this all by himself. I was in the shower when he was putting socks on and then when I saw him, I laughed so hard. He told me "Daddy's Socks". :)

Embarrassing Moment!!!
Today, one of my college classes went on a field trip to Sioux Falls to the Kirby Science Center. I have never been there. This place was neat and its for all ages from 1yr. on up. While we were there we saw a movie in the cinadome(spelling off), well, I get sick in these kinds of movies, so I just closed my eyes the whole time. The worse part was even walking into the dome I got dizzy and sick. I made it through. Well, on our way out and going down to the main floor I feel down the stairs and twisted my ankle and hurt my elbow. It hurt, but it was more embarrassing in front of all my classmates (peers). I just thought I would share this with everybody.

Update!!!
Well, I finally got a call from the doctor for my first thing. Colonoscopy.... I will be having this done Friday October 19 at 10:00. They told me that if they see anything they could remove it during this procedure. Thank god that I will sleeping. The day before I am on a liquid diet and then have to drink a lot of this powder laxative until gone. Every 15 min. a glass full until gone. YUCK!!!! After midnight nothing... We have to be there an hour before and then an hour after. The procedure will take 45 minutes unless something is serious it will take longer. I will keep you posted on what else comes up. I am hoping tonight to post a recent picture of Tyler. I had a test this morning, which really sucked :( The story of my life.... I hope everybody is having a great Thursday!!! :)

Anything Else Go Wrong!!! :(
Well, its a new week and I thought maybe things would get better, but no such luck. I will review to the good new then to the bad news. On Friday my cousin had her baby boy, so we went and saw them. Then on Saturday we went to the festivals of bands in Sioux falls to watch Dan's sister march. Tyler sure enjoyed watching the bands. We didn't stay for the whole thing. Then we were off to see Dan's parents and Dan had to do some cattle things. I wasn't feeling the best on Saturday, but I thought it wasn't anything. I will start off by explaining that I have a condition called Endometriosis.
Endometriosis is type of tissue that lines your uterus is also growing outside your uterus. Its implants of tissue outside your uterus act just like the tissue lining your uterus. During your menstrual cycle, they get thicker, then break down and bleed. But the implants are outside your uterus, so the blood cannot flow out of your body. The implants can get irritated and painful. Sometimes they form scar tissue or fluid-filled sacs (cysts). Scar tissue may make it hard to get pregnant.
(Information off of WebMD)
I just wanted to share a little bit about this condition. Well, I was diagnosed with this condition when I was 18. I did have to have a Laparoscopy, which is a surgery that the go through the belly button and a few other slits. They blow up your stomach and its not fun. I had this surgery when I was 20 and they took out a tumor size of endometriosis. I slowly felt better after this surgery and getting pregnant was not a problem for us. I was put on a birth control that helps subside my endometriosis and around January of this year I was suffering a lot pain here and there at all times. It would come and go, but would be cramps like I had my time of the month. Not fun. Well Dan I decided that we would try for another little one and we didn't succeed :( all we got was me in a lot of pain. I was suffering a lot of pain after I went off the birth control, which was two months now. It just takes over your body.
This past weekend I was in so much pain that I could barely walk. I had to call the doctor and get some pain meds and it helped some, but they knock me out. I was at dan's parents and we ended up leaving around 9:30 sat. night bc all I wanted was to go home and be in my bed when I don't feel good. My doctor called in my meds and we picked them up, but Wal-greens was backed up, so I didn't get my meds until 11:30. We finally got home around 12:30. I have been using ice packs to numb me,this is my best friend now. I went to a emergency doctor appointment yesterday Monday. He did an exam and said that I should have another surgery, but I have also been having some anal pressure( sorry for the visual) and my doctor thinks endometriosis has went into my Colon, so I have to have a colonoscopy(spelling may be off) to see what is going on in my colon and then my other surgery. He wanted to make sure that we had a doctor on hand if they need to repair my colon. So now we are waiting for that scan to be done and then on to the other. I am still in pain and will be until who knows. We are crossing our fingers that we will be able to have one more, so we shall see. I wish some people would just understand and show that they care but some people don't. Some people think just take some advil and it will go away, well wrong it doesn't. It stays there....This is a very painful condition. I feel sorry for everybody that has to go through this. I don't wish this on anybody. My mom does have this, but got when she was older and she had a hysterectomy, and doing great!!
Tyler is growing up and getting hurt. Tonight, he just fell off our bed, which is very high. He bonked his nose and hit his lip hard. He has a big lip now. He is a tough cookie!!!! Well, I hope everybody has a great week!! I will keep everybody updated on what is going on.

A Horrible Monday!!!
I know its Wednesday, but I have to share about my horrible Monday!!! It started on Thursday last week when I called the dentist about my cracked tooth that was fixed about a week ago. They Squeezed me in Monday morning. I have class at 1 to 3:20, so I should be able to make it back. I get in there and he looks at and starts to grind my teeth down, boy was I crying and I couldn't take the pain. He told me that I need to come back at 4:20 to get that tooth opened up and I didn't want to, because that meant that I would miss class and miss my volunteer thing that night. I hate missing things, but I had no choice. I had to get it done. So I went back at 4:20 and got it opened up and it took 7 shots to get me numb, boy I hate dentists. He did everything but closing it up. I have a temporary fill just in case I have built up pressure and have to open it up. He did give me a stronger pain pill, but I don't like to those if I don't have to. I do have a 2 year old son that I have to keep up with and this pill would knock me out. So I got back into Brookings about 8 and I had to give in to go get my pain pill filled because I couldn't take it. We went to Wal-mart and I had to pick up some other things and one of those things were coke and I picked up a case and it dropped out of my hand and dropped and pop exploded everywhere. BAD DAY!! Nothing was going right for me. I cried so much that day after my first dentist appointment. Thank god my mom was there for me. Well, I hope everybody else is having a great week. The rest of week has been stressful and trying to keep my tooth pain to a minimum.
The good thing is that we switched Tyler in a toddler bed finally. He seems to do fine, but Monday night was his first night in it and he fell out 3 times. We picked up a net side railing. He does have a small that came with the bed, but he is a restless sleeper so that doesn't stop him. He even got a new matress and he likes that. The one we had for his crib was one that was dan's aunts and is old because that was hers when she was little. Tyler is doing great in his bed. I hope everybody has a good one.

Busy, Busy!!!!
It never ends.... We are constantly busy with something. I have been a little stressed with everything going on. I have been busy with homework :( and keeping up with Tyler. Since he turned 2 I think he has changed a little. He is extremely attached to me. For example going to daycare he clings on to me like glue. I guess the attachment thing is here. He favorite sayings lately are: "I don't like that"
"I don't want to" "NO" These are fun!! He has also been picky on what he wears, he will say "No, I don't it" hmmm... lovely. Tyler is very independent. This is excellent at times, but others I just wish he would give in, but no he has to throw a tantrum. Dan has been busy with work and that is about it. This weekend its HOBO week/weekend. Usually we leave town, since this town will be covered with people and cops. We are staying here as of right now. There is a parade on Saturday, so we are going to try and go if its not rainy. Tyler is already sick, so I don't need him more sick. Well, I just thought I would write something and say hi.

Crazy Week/Weekend!!!
WOW! Its been a crazy week. I have been busy with school and running after Tyler. This weekend will be more crazy. I got a call today (Thursday) from my dentist and I told them that I wanted to be on the call list to get in and a spot opened up. I have to get a cracked tooth fixed that I had a filling in awhile back. I also need to get a tooth canal finished, but the crack tooth will be all for this time. Did I mention that I dislike dentists. Know matter how well I take care of my teeth, I still don't come out ahead. I have some bad luck. So Tyler and I will rush to Huron tomorrow morning and then come back to Brookings. After Dan gets off work we will head to Sioux Falls to go grocery shopping at Sam's then head to a friends house. Tyler has been saying her name and her son's name non stop. He even calls his caregiver my friends name. Its not like we spend lots of time together, but I guess he is just stuck on her name. He gets a long really well with her and her son. Then on Saturday we head back to Huron sometime with the Trailer. Dan bought two calves in Huron couple of weekends ago, so now its time to pick them up and then head to Rushmore,MN his parents on Sunday sometime after we pick the cows up. A lot of driving..:( I do need to work on some homework in the mean time, but I probably won't get much done :(. Well, I hope everybody has a great weekend and a Great Friday :)

Happy Birthday Tyler!!!!! Your 2 :)
Happy Birthday Tyler!!! Your 2 today!!! I know your big day is almost over and your in bed,but I just wanted to wish my baby a Happy Birthday. Tyler had a great time at his birthday party. He was sure a busy boy at Chuck E Cheese. He hasn't been to Chuck E Cheese before, but he did extremely well. He was afraid of Chuck E, but my mom told me that I was afraid of him too, until I got use to him because my parents took me there a lot. That was my favorite place. Tyler sure enjoyed all his gifts and we thank everybody for them. I will post some pictures tomorrow from his big day. I hope everybody has a wonderful week.

Relaxed and Exciting weekend!!
Well, its the weekend already. Last night (Friday) we headed to Sioux Falls to pick up Tyler's pictures. I wanted to pick them up before his birthday on Sunday, so I can pass them out to everybody. We did some errands and then headed home. Today,(Saturday)we cleaned house, slept in and doing some laundry. My mom and Ryan are coming tonight to stay with us, so that will be fun.
Tomorrow is the exciting day Tyler turns 2. I can't believe my baby will be 2. They grow up so fast. We have a big birthday party planned for him. We are going to Chuck E Cheese. Both sides of our family will be there. Approximately 45 people, so that will be fun. I will fill everybody in on the big day and share some pictures. Until then have a great weekend!! Try to stay warm....

Burrrrrrrrrr...... Its getting COLDER!!!
Were back and its getting colder out. We made it back from our trip to Winona,MN last night. It was a great trip. Sides our hotel experience. Our hotel had an smell that was bad. I think it was mold or mildew or something. I was defiantly stuffed up from it. My mom tried to get a switch, but they wouldn't accommodate us. The staff was very rude. They told us they put a ionizer in our room, but I don't think they did. My mom finally got somewhere on Monday when we checked out. My mom wanted to talk to the manager, but he wasn't there. The manager was suppose to call, but he didn't he had the lady that talked to us call her. That is pathetic!! Well, she got a free night, but she should have got more. It wasn't worth what she paid for it. Besides that we had a great trip. We left Friday morning in a rental van. My mom thought it would be nice if we had a bigger and more comfortable vehicle to ride in. It was great.... I always said I wouldn't own a van, but they are nice and the drive nice also. We had lots of room. Tyler had a great weekend. We celebrated my grandpa's 75th b-day and then they also had a special cake and presents for Tyler. They won't be able to make it to his birthday party on Sunday. Tyler got to meet my aunt and uncle for the first time. He was in my tummy when I was out in California for my cousin's graduation. Tyler had a great time with them. He warmed up to them very fast. I didn't know how it was going to go. We had a great time spending time with family. We do have pictures, but I have to wait to get them from other people.
I think we are going to have an early winter.... It was cold out today.... Tyler told me "burrrr... cold...."
Have a great week!!! Stay warm :)

Pictures!!!
Tyler had his 2 year old pictures in Sioux Falls at sears. They turned out great! I am going to brag about my son... He is so photogenic, so it was hard picking out pictures. I got all of them.... expensive :( well worth it though. Dan has a big family, so we will hand them out. If you want to see them you can go to this website and see them... We did have a little accident by tripping over the sheet with the bat in his hand, so he hit his nose hard. His nose started bleeding. The sad thing was we were not done with pictures.
*Copy and paste the website in the address box. Not sure how you get it to show up, so you can just click on it. If you copy and paste it works.

School
Well, for those of you that don't know. I am going back to school. I didn't pass my test that needed to, so I transfered back to SDSU for early childhood birth-8yrs. I can teach up to 2nd grade. I perfer to only teach younger children, so I hope this works for me. Today, was pay day and buying books. Tyler went to daycare, which its lady that I use to work with. Tyler only was there a couple hours and did great. He did better than I thought. It was hard for me because I have been able to stay home with him for the last 2 months. Tomorrow, he will be there longer. Tomorrow I offically start school yuck :(. You know I went to go buy my books and the grand total was 382.12, why do they have to be so much. I didn't even get all of them. They had some optional ones, but I decided not to. I need to still get one though, it wasn't there yet. Enough of that. I wanted to share something that is going to be a challenge for us I think. Tyler figured out that he can climb out of his crib now. I was waiting for it, but didn't think he could. I was wrong! He climbs right out. Nap time today was a challenge. :( He woke me up this morning by coming to my side and saying "Hi Mommy" I asked him how he got out of bed, but he wouldn't answer me. Well, I am done posting now. Tonight we are off to Sioux Falls to get Tyler's 2year pictures. I will share tomorrow!! Have a great night.

Our 3 day Weekend!
Our weekend consisted of going to the South Dakota State Fair. Friday my dad came to visit and then left on Saturday morning. We sure enjoyed seeing him. Saturday afternoon we headed to see my mom. That evening we headed to the fair, which was fun. Tyler enjoyed seeing the animals and tractors. Sunday we went back to fair and just walked around and saw some more things. It was sure hot!! Tyler got a free medium sized rhino given to him. Dan and I were sitting on a bench and this guy was carrying 3 stuff animals and he gave one to Tyler. That was sure nice. Tyler isn't sure on the Rhino, its different. Then Sunday night he rode on rides, he loved the rides. We had a hard time getting him off the rides. His favorite ride was the helicopters. They even when high in the sky, so I wasn't sure if he would like them, but I was wrong he loved them. Then Monday we just took it easy. We unloaded our collection of washers and dryer. Then took a treadmill to my mom's work for her. Tyler loves going to my mom's work because they have ice machine that has crushed ice, that is his favorite. Then after we got that done we headed out to eat. Chinese is what we had. Its my favorite! Dan isn't a fan, but he will eat it. Huron has the best Chinese restaurant. Then we did some errands and went back to my mom's and Tyler took a nap! Dan went and looked at some cattle. This weekend we also discovered that Tyler can climb out of his play-n-pack. So there is no more confining him.:( Naps are getting harder! We finally got back to Brookings around 8 and saw how busy the town was. School starts tomorrow, so the population doubled.
I hope everybody had a great weekend.

Made me Think!!
Last Friday I was on my profile on facebook. For those of you that don't know what facebook is, it is kind of like messenger, but you have a profile, you can add pictures and then you add friends, which they can you can post a message on your wall. Anyway I saw a group that you can join, which the title was Prayers for Hannah. I clicked on it and it was a 18 girl that passed away. They had her obituary site, so I clicked on it and read it and then had a video of her life. Boy did I cry my eyes out. I found out that her brother passed away when he was 15 with a heart condition. Now it took her life. I couldn't imagine what her family is going through. I heart and prayers go out to that family. It made me think that we shouldn't take our lives for granted or our children. You just never know when its your turn. I just wanted to share my feelings.

Its FRIDAY!!!!
Its Friday and its a 3 day weekend! Yay!!! Well, its another busy weekend for us. Tonight Dan gets home tonight from Aberdeen. Tyler and I were home by ourselves last night. We had a pretty good night for the most part. We went to Wal-Mart and took back our cheap camera. I couldn't take it anymore, it was not worth the money. Today, Tyler and I cleaned house and did our last load of laundry. Tyler is clingy today and not sure why. My dad (Grandpa Bob) is coming to see us. He is going to stay with us for the night and then we are off tomorrow morning to see my mom. We are going to the State Fair :) Tyler will sure enjoy it. He enjoys riding on the rides. We will then come back Monday sometime. Till then I hope everybody has a great weekend :)

Well Baby Check-up
Today, Tyler had his 2yr check-up. We were behind in shots, so he had to get two shots in the leg. He did wonderful! He is a tough boy. The doctor wanted to wait till he was over 2, but I needed to get him in and get a copy of his shot record for daycare. I knew he was behind, so I thought it would be best to get him in when they could. He is doing very well. His vocabulary is wonderful. He is showing some signs of potty training. The doctor said not to force him. He has went on the potty a couple of times before, but that was the end to that. His head measures in the 95%, which is big, but still normal. His weight and height are between the 25-50%. I knew he was going to be short, but his mom isn't the tallest person. His weight is low, but still normal. After shots he got to pick out a book and then the nurse brought him a sticker. Guess what was on the sticker Mater from CARS! She didn't even know that was his favorite. He loved his sticker!! He did wonderful with his shots. He didn't cry much at all. The part he didn't like was being held down. I did talk to the doctor about allergies. I have suffer from allergies and at his age I had them bad. When Tyler was about 1 he had an allergic reaction to laundry softener. I know you are not suppose to use this, but Dan thought it would git rid of the smell of spit up. We took him in and he had an allergic reaction to it. I have seen some other signs that he might have allergies. He breaks out in a rash on his face and neck through out the month. I can't figure out what is causing it. I have to keep an eye on this and take him in, so they can look at his rash. Other than that he is doing extremely well. Tyler is sure growing fast!!
I took this picture this morning when he was watching Cars in Mommy and Daddy's bed

Our New Collection
Well, We went to Wal-mart last night and decided to pick up a cheap camera. We got one of those 50.00 dollar ones. It is defiantly not worth that much, but we needed something to get us by. After using it a little, I am about ready to take it back. I took a picture of our collection of washers and a dryer that is being stored on our deck for the time being. Sorry about the pictures not being that great. I also took a picture of our NEW washer and dryer, which is still working BEAUTIFUL.

Bad Luck!!!
Well, Dan and I are having some BAD LUCK!!! The washer that my mom gave us isn't working right. It doesn't spin. Dan called the local person to see what they think is wrong with it. Well, its some gage or something else. Well, its going to cost us around 100.00 at least that doesn't include service charge. So I guess we are going to get a NEW washer. My mom was only trying to help us save money. Thanks Mom!! Our brand new dryer works great!! Dan tried to mow Sunday night, but that didn't go so well, he broke down in the middle of mowing, so he tried last night and it worked fine. Dan has bad luck with mowers. He goes through them like candy! Well, I hope everybody has a wonderful day in this rainy/gloomy day!!

Back home!!
Well, another busy weekend over. We made it back home yesterday afternoon. Thursday and Friday we spent the days at the Minnesota State Fair. WOW! is that fair big. We did a lot of walking. It rained most of the time, but it was still fun. I was ready to come home. Dan's cows both of them placed 4th in their class out of 12, so that was good. Friday afternoon we headed back home. We stopped at his parents place to drop off his mom and grandma and then we headed to Brookings. That was the longest drive ever. Then on Saturday we headed to my mom's to help her boyfriend shingle a shed. We also had to pick up our dog Sammy. She was sure happy to see us. Then we ended up staying the night and came home Sunday afternoon. We then stopped at home and dropped some things off then headed to Lowe's to get a new dryer. We then spent most of the night taking the old out and putting the new in. We also got a different washer, because ours were going out. My mom had one from her other place, so at least we saved money there. That is all for now. Some how I caught a cold or something that is kicking my butt! I haven't been sick for a long time, so I guess it was due. Well, I hope everybody has a wonderful week. I don't have pictures from the weekend, but when I get some I will share. It may be a bit.

Adventure to Laundry Mat
My Day was filled with a dryer taking a dump. I knew it was only going to be a matter of time that our dryer went out. I only had 2 loads to dry. It went out when my one load was almost dry. This was Tyler's first adventure to the laundry mat. I brought things to keep him occupied. There was a dog in there, so he thought that was cool. There was a sign that said NO Pets allowed. So I captured some pictures of Tyler at the laundry mat. As most people know laundry mats aren't the cleanest. We are off to the Minnesota State Fair to watch Dan's sister and her friend show our calves. We leave tonight for Dan's parents place and then tomorrow morning to go to the fair. Tyler is going with us, so it could be interesting. We will be back home Friday night. I will fill you in and share pictures. Until then Have a great week and weekend :)

CARS
I don't know what is with Tyler, but he sure loves his Cars the Disney movie. He watches that movie everyday. He likes the first 30 minutes of it. He has to watch right when he gets up. I also don't know what is with his attitude. I know its probably the terrible 2's, but it making me frustrated. He doesn't listen and then when you spank his bottom he still doesn't listen. I hate to spank, but I don't know what else to do. I feel like all I am doing is yelling :( If anybody has any suggestions please let me know. Today, we didn't do much. I am trying to do laundry, but our dryer is going out, so it takes twice as long and I can't run it when Tyler is sleeping because it squeaks really loud. Tonight, we are off to meet my mom and Ryan to give them Sammy our dog for the week until Sat. We are off to the Minnesota State Fair tomorrow night. We are going to stay at Dan's parents place and then we will leave Thursday morning. Dan's sister and friend are showing Dan's calves that they won with at their county fair. Dan is excited. I am excited for him. I just hope Tyler cooperates with me. Well, have a great night.

Quick Post
I hope everybody had a great weekend. We sure did. Friday night we were off to Dan's Parents place for their surprise 25th anniversary party that we were putting on. We were running late, but it all worked out. They were definitely surprised. Saturday afternoon we headed home. Before we went home we stopped at Dan's aunt and Uncles in Hartford to pick up a basketball hoop for Tyler. When then were off to home bound. We were definitely ready to be home. Sunday came and we slept in and cleaned house. It was much over due for cleaning. Then my friend Ashley and her little boy Hunter came to visit us. It was nice to have some visitors. We always like it when people come and see us for once. Tyler had a fun time playing with Hunter. Hunter just turned 1, so he is younger. Tyler had a hard time sharing, but got use to it. Then its Monday, it was a lazy day for Tyler and I. We slept in and then just took it easy. We went for a walk in the muggy weather :( Yuck! Well, that is all for now. I hope everybody has a great week. Its a busy one for us (that's not surprising).

Tyler's Painting Creation
Today, Tyler and I painted. Let me tell you that it was interesting. We are making an anniversary card for Grandpa and Grandma (Dan's parents) there 25th anniversary is coming up. Well, I thought it would be neat if Tyler made a card for them. He did very good painting with hands and feet. It was a mess, but he had FUN! Its not done yet. We got the painting done, so now its finishing up with the rest. I have included some pictures of his creation. I will make sure I take a picture of the end result.
Have a great day/night!!

Tuesday/Parker Fair
I am a little late on this. Tuesday night we went to Parker with Dan's aunt's family. We have never been there before. They asked us last year, but we couldn't make it. We made it this year and it was a neat fair. They have a lot to offer. Tyler sure enjoys riding rides this year. Last year he hated them, but this year we can't keep him off of them. We got home really late that night, so the next day was interesting for us. I should say for Tyler... Lately he has been getting worse. Terrible 2's. I am to the point where I just want to stay home and not go anywhere he is that bad. Its discouraging and frustrating! I took some pictures of Tyler riding some rides, until my camera died!:( Well, I hope everybody is having a great hot/humid week.

Another Busy weekend over
Well, this was a busy weekend. Tyler had a great time at the Sioux Falls fair during the little concert. He danced away! Then we went through the little animals. We didn't stay long because I had Sammy in the car... It was a HOT one! After the fair we were off to see my grandma. We had a fun seeing visiting her. Tyler sure has fun getting into things. She has a fish, so he stood by the fish most of them time. He loves fish! Then we were off to Worthington for their county fair, since dan's sister has cattle there. I was ready to go home by Friday. It was hot and being without air, made me crabby. Tyler doesn't take heat very well either. Friday was a laid back day we looked around and just sat by the cattle. We ran into Dan's cousin and Aunt Friday night, so that was nice to see them. This brings us to the big day Saturday. Friday night we didn't get much sleep because a storm went through and it had high winds with it. I seriously thought we were going to tip over in the camper. Saturday was a HOT...HOT Day!! I got a heat headache and was not in a good mood. Tyler thankfully went with Dan's cousin and her kids for most of the day. He took a good nap and was in air conditioning. Sadie and her friend Heather showed cattle and they did well. There dan's cattle. With the two little prospect steer division Heather took overall grand champion and Sadie took reserve champion, so we are off to the Minnesota State Fair. I happy very happy for them. Dan worked his butt off to get here and now his dream has came true. The best part is that the calf's are home grown we didn't pay a lot for them like other people do. That night we walked around and Tyler rode some rides. He is sure growing up. He loved the rides unlike last year. He even rode a real horse, he loved it. Lately he has been loving horses, which dan calls him a trader, because he doesn't want anything to do with cows, its all about horses.
Sunday Tyler and I left in the morning to go to my moms. I had dentist appointment Monday. (Root canal) :( Tyler was not the best boy on sunday. He was being naughty.. He wasn't listening and doing everything that I told him not too. My mom and I went to a bridal shower for my cousin, so it was embarrassing at times with him. I think terrible 2's have set in. Then my mom and I spent some time together, which I always look forward too. Monday was my ugly dentist appt. I had a root canal done, which wasn't too bad until I started feeling some of it towards the end. My metabolism soaks up the Novocain/shot they give you fast. Never fails.... I wish my metabolism would soak up my fat fast, so then I wouldn't have a problem :) They did give me another shot, which was stronger, but that didn't stick with me that long either, but thankfully it was done. Today... My tooth doesn't feel that great, it hurts:( they told me that it would be sore for a couple days and then for 2 weeks it would hurt if I put pressure on it even if its my finger. :( I have some bad luck.... Well, today is just a relaxing day. I hope everybody has a great week.

Were Back
We made it back safe and sound. We got back late Sunday night. Our trip was fun. We enjoyed seeing my dad. Our days were filled with lots. We went to Mt. Rushmore, Hill City, Putz and glo, Story book land, Reptile Guarden, go cart racing, and dinasaur park. Tyler made a new friend named Maddy, my dad's roomates daughter. He had fun with her. Both days we were there, Tyler didn't get much of naps. We had fun though!!
Monday was filled with unpacking and getting things back to normal (what is that). Tuesday I was sick with a migraine/flu. Wednesday I felt better and was in the baking mood, surprising because I don't like to cook. I made some brownie's, Banana bread, and had supper ready Chicken fried rice. I was proud of myself!! Tonight was filled with doing laundry and packing. Tomorrow we are headed to Worthington, MN for their county fair. Dan's sister is in 4-H, so she shows cattle and has other things there. Before we go to Worthington, we are stopping by the Sioux Falls fair to meet my friend and her son. She has her own daycare and is taking them to the Phil Baker show, so Tyler and I are going to join her. Then we are going to go see my grandma on my dad's side. Then later that evening we will head to see Daddy and cows (as Tyler would say). Tyler and I will head to my mom's on early sunday afternoon because I have to go to the dentist on Monday :(... I don't like dentists. Just another busy weekend. Here are some pictures from our trip. I hope everybody has a great weekend!!!

It will be interesting with Tyler on how well he does in the car for that long. We do have to stop in Huron to drop off Sammy (our dog), so he can run for awhile. We will be seeing lots of bikes. Its first weekend of sturgis rally. We have lots of things planned to go see. I hope everybody has a great weekend!!! I will post when I get back and share some pictures.

What a week/weekend!
This last week we were busy with getting things ready for the weekend. Dan had a cattle show in Huron. We left Thursday and came back late last night. Tyler sure enjoys seeing the animals. He is an animal lover. Dan's sister showed a steer, but got fourth, which isn't bad, but not that good. Tyler and I spent time with my mom. I sure enjoy spending time with her. Tyler has a good time with grandma (Barb). Dan thought for room wise we would borrow his dad's pickup. It was more room and since we had four people we had to do something. Dan's pickup only fits 3. On our way home 5 minutes from Huron we lost power in the pickup. To top it off we had a trailer full of cattle and pigs. Out of all times we break down then. Thankfully his friend Greg was still in Huron, so we got a hold of them and they came and got the trailer and we had to take their pop-up camper back. Whenever we get home. Dan crawled to the side of the road. At this time its really hot and Tyler is hot and getting crabby. He doesn't take heat very well. Dan opened up the hood and was looking around and didn't see anything wrong. He called his dad and asked him. All gauges were normal, and we had gas :). Dan did pull out the fuel filter and it was black as can be. That isn't normal. So I called my mom and her boyfriend Ryan and the helped us out a lot. They called around town and stopped at places to see if they can get a fuel filter. No LUCK!!! Dan isn't have a good day. He started the day off by the trailer having a bad tire, he changed that. When loading a cow ripped his shirt and now this problem. Finally my mom and Ryan came to us and took Tyler and I and we were on our way to check the last place to see if they have a filter. Well, we got there and the guy that runs the shop was not there, so the lady that was at the counter said we could go to their house and see. Ryan went to their house and he was taking a nap :( He was so kind that he came over to his shop and he had one. He told Ryan that it may not be just the filter. Dan did say it wasn't running right on our way to Huron when pulling the trailer. We headed back to Dan and his sister. They pushed the truck off to a side road that was by us. They pushed a long time. The pickup worked fine after we put a new filter in. There were some things that didn't seem right, but we made it to Brandon where we were meeting his family to switch vehicles. Well, that was our adventure this weekend. This week we are busy washing clothes for our mini vacation. We are leaving Thursday to go see my dad in Rapid City. We are coming back Sunday. We haven't seen him since May. It will be nice to see him. Well, that is all for now. Have a great week.

Sorry :(
I know I said I would post Wed., but I didn't. Well, it has been interesting with Tyler and I home together all day. He is testing me and entering his TERRIBLE 2's. I give all the mom's out there credit for being able to stay home with their children because its hard work. I don't think I am cut out to be a stay at home mom. We are still putting things away and trying to find a place for everything is a challenge. Having a place that we can call ours is nice. I am enjoying living in town. For the past 3 weeks Wal-mart is our 2nd home. Dan likes our place, but doesn't like living in town. Well, this weekend we are busy with a wedding that is in Clark/Watertown. Tyler is going to my mom's (Grandma Barb). Other than that I will be cleaning and putting more things away. I hope everybody has a great weekend.

Back on !! Without things!
For over a week we have been without cable and internet. You don't realize how much you take things for granted until you are without. We just got our internet and cable today. Its nice to finally have these things. We are finally moved in to our new place. We finished moving this last weekend. We just had the little things left. Well, I just wanted to let everybody know that we are still here. We just haven't had internet. Well, I will post again tomorrow for sure.

Happy 4th of July
I know its late! I hope everybody had a wonderful 4th of July. We spent the day working hard at our new place. We painted and put wood flooring in. We got quite a bit done. We will finish up on Sat. We had lots of help and it was greatly appreciated. My mom and Ryan helped a lot and I hope we didn't work them too hard and they come and help us on Sat. :) It was a late night and we saw some fireworks on our way home from Brookings.
As I said before I would have pictures of my knee. On Tuesday night I finally got to take a shower and some bandages. Then had to re-bandage it up again. I also have a picture of Tyler in an empty cupboard that he was sitting in. Our house looks like a disaster. Boxes everywhere! I hate it when it looks cluttered.

Happy Late Anniversary
Its been busy these past couple of days. July 3 was our 3rd Anniversary. We spent the day as usual. Dan went to work and I was laid up. That night we went to Sioux Falls to get our flooring and paint for our new place. We then went out to dinner with Dan's aunt, cousins and sister. Dan's sister stayed with us until wed. to help me with Tyler. I appreciated it a lot.

I made it!!
I made it through my knee surgery. After surgery the doctor came out to talk to Dan, but Dan said he didn't learn anything. It was short and sweet. From what he got out of the talk they took out my lateral release and took a bunch of scar tissue out. I am still on crutches, which sucks. I am hanging in there. I just wish it would hurry up and heal. The weekend was filled with packing. We took a small load over to our new place, but we have a lot ahead of us. I will post some pictures later of what my knee looks like. I will also have one of Tyler. Tyler came back home yesterday (Sunday). Dan's sister is here until wed. to help me and take care of Tyler. If I didn't have her I don't know what I would do. I hope everybody had a wonderful weekend.

Nervous
Hi Everyone,
Well, its the night before my surgery. I am nervous!!! Well, today was Tyler's and my last day at work/daycare. My day was not the best day you could say. My boss didn't treat me very well, but oh well I am DONE! We had a scare with Tyler. Parts of his arms were blue along with some fingers and part of his legs. I took him in, but they weren't concerned now. It comes and goes. He was cold, so I think that is what caused him to turn blue. He does have fifth disease. Lucky boy he caught it from daycare. For those of you that don't know what it is. The child has cold like symptoms and then a week later or so a rash will appear on cheeks and arms. Its not the prettiest thing you would see. Its a virus, so it has to work its course. Well, this is all I have to say today!! Tyler is with Grandma (Dan's mom)!! I sure do miss him!!

Long time/I am Back
I know its been two months since my last post. We have been a busy family.
End of April:
Since our last post Tyler was in his first wedding as a ring bearer at the end of April. He was in Dan's brothers wedding. Dan was also in the wedding as the best man. The wedding was fun and interesting.
May:
The month of may we were busy with odds and ends. My father was here from Rapid City over memorial day. It was a great time seeing and spending time with him. Tyler and us were sure sad to see him go. Tyler was his buddy while he was here. They read lots of books. This month were also looking for a place to live in Brookings. House hunting isn't the most fun thing to do, especially when your not finding anything.
June:
We found a place to live in Brookings. We decided to go with a trailer. Its cheaper and its only temporary. We found a nice 3 bedroom 2 bath trailer. Dan wasn't sold on living in a trailer, but he is dealing with it. We get to start moving next week. This month Dan helped his aunt and uncle with landscaping by building a retaining wall. He is a talented person. We also took Tyler to the races in Hartford for the first time. Tyler sure enjoyed them. He loves cars. He is so obsessed with the movie "Cars" he is collecting all the cars from the movie. He even has pajama's that are cars. He won't give them up for anything. This month also brought problems to me. I did something to my knee, not sure how I did it, but who knows. I dislocated my knee cap. I have been dealing with this little over a month. I have been going to the chiropractic to figure out what is going on. She is the one that saw my knee cap is not in its right spot. So she tried putting it in, but it didn't stay. I must say its painful. Well, sure referred me to a orthopedic specialist and I just saw them yesterday (Tuesday). I have surgery this Friday to fix my knee. He told me what he is going to do, but all I got out of it was taking a ligament out to make my knee cap sit where its suppose to. Then possible release a band on the other side of the knee. I will be laid up for awhile. Tomorrow (Thursday) is Tyler's and my last day at work. I think by not working there I won't be under so much stress. Other than that we have been busy with packing everything up. Packing and moving is not my favorite thing to do. I feel so bad since I won't be able to help that much.
Tyler is continuing to grow and talk non stop. There are times we are not sure what he is saying, but we finally figure it out. I just can't believe how much he growing. At daycare this last couple of weeks he has shown interest on going potty on the toilet. He goes in the toilet at daycare, but just sits on it at home. He will do it when he is ready. I hope everybody has a wonderful rest of the week. I will from now on try and post every night. I will sure post after my surgery when I feel up to it to let everyone know how it went and what they did.

Busy!!!
So I haven't posted for awhile. This last week has been busy. I made it through my first week of work and thinking oh my this may be interesting. We did have a good Easter, we were at my grandparents in Winona, MN. We enjoyed our time visiting and seeing family that I haven't seen since I was like 12. This weekend we have just been relaxing and doing some cleaning and trying to study. Sunday, it was just Tyler and I spending time together, Dan was at a cattle show with a friend in Nebraska somewhere. This morning Tyler and I went grocery shopping in Brookings and then came home and did some cleaning. We didn't do much today. Trying to get ready for the busy week. I hope everybody has a great week.

News!
Well, I know my last post was talking about my last day at work. Well, that has changed now. I have this week off and will start working on Monday April 9. I took a FULL TIME position as a head teacher in the room I was working in. I was really happy because now I can do what I want and have fun activities for the children to do. It will be a challenge at first, but hopefully it will get better. This month will be a little stressful for me because I have to study for my Elementary board test that I take on the 28th. I have been studying, but you never know what the test is going to be like. Every test is different. Enough of that!!
Over Easter we are going to Winona, Minnesota to see my grandpa and grandma. We are leaving Thursday night. We are riding with my mom, so it will be a fun trip because its never a dull moment with my mom. We are excited to see them because we haven's since Tyler turned 1. We are also going to help celebrate grandma's 75th birthday. It will be a great time.
I hope everybody has a great week and a Happy Easter!!

Catching up!
Last night I had to give Sammy (our dog) some medicine, so she didn't want anything do with me. She went to her next best friend, which I am amazed that she went to him because Tyler is so mean to her. Here are some pictures of them. I hope everybody has a great rest of the week and weekend!
