I am back :)

For some reason, I just keep forgetting about my blog. I wish I could be better at this. Wait I could if I actually just did it. Well, the month of June we have just been relaxing at home. Tyler and I are enjoying our time together. I am ready to be done being pregnant. I know I have 2 months to go. I did find out she is two weeks ahead, so we shall see. Maybe she will want out at the end of August :) In my dreams. Tyler is growing and the things he comes up with is something else. He is getting very excited for his sister to be here. Well, I hope to post at least one more time this week. I will leave you with a picture of Alexa (Tyler named her) I am glad he picked that one. :) and a recent picture of me.

28 weeks

June already!!!!

I can't believe its already June. Well, there hasn't been too much going on here. I have been just getting big.. :) My last day at work was May 22 and then it was also Dan's sister's high school graduation. We went to that and spent time with his parents and putting cattle fence up. I know it sounds like a lot of fun to put fence up.

Then I had a doctor's appointment, which went well. She is healthy. Tyler and I have been just spending time together, which has been nice. I still haven't found a job :( I do have one lined up for the fall if I want to do it and it looks like that is what I need to do right now. In between there I got a call from my dad to inform me that he had a mini stroke, so his health is not so good, but doing better. They are still doing testing to see what is going to be next. It was scare for us.

Then last night Dan had to take me to the ER in Sioux Falls because I was having problems breathing and it hurt so bad to breathe. I was in so much pain. I was up with some pain at 3:30 AM Tuesday morning. It just kept getting worse as the day went on. So I called in and they wanted to see me, well I asked to go to Brookings, but they didn't want me too. Usually I won't ask to go to Brookings, but since I just left S.F. with my mom and they didn't return my call until I just got back to Brookings. I know I should of called back, but I gave them my symptoms, so I would think they would put it as a critical call back, but I guess not. So Dan wasn't happy about that going back to Sioux Falls, when I was just there. After a long night in the ER they found out that I had pinched nerve. Gave me some high pain killers and I actually got sleep. WOW! I had never been in so much pain in my life. At first everybody kept saying I had bruised ribs and there is nothing to do for those. It wasn't that. Well, I am feeling somewhat better today... I am sore still, but not as bad. I did go to the chiropractic, so hopefully I won't have to take much of the pain killers.
Well, that is about it for catch up with the Groenewold's. I hope to post more often. I know I say that every time. I will TRY :) I will leave you with a recent picture.

Wow! Where does time go.....

I didn't realize its been so long since my last post. I feel bad that its been so long. We have been busy with everything going on. Our weekends have been busy. We are not home much, which I wish we were. This last weekend we helped our friends move Friday and Saturday in Sioux Falls. Then we came home Saturday night to relax. Sunday Mother's Day we planned on staying home and relaxing. I called my mom to wish her a happy mother's day, but she informed me on what was all going on with her. They are in the process of remodeling their house. They are lifting the house tues. so they had a lot to get done before the house goes up. So I felt bad staying home and doing nothing. They didn't have anybody to help them. So we surprised her by showing up and helping them. We got home late last night,so making the Monday very long and tiring. I am approaching to my last two weeks of work. I keep looking for teaching jobs for the fall, but there isn't much out there. I would like to do some work from home, but you never know what you can trust. Well, that is all for now. I will try and post more often.

The gender is???????????

We are proud to say we are having a GIRL :)... Tyler is so excited that he got his sister that he wanted. Everything went great. She is doing excellent. I will post some pictures in the next couple of days. I just wanted to share our good news. Take care

Exciting!!

I know its been awhile. There hasn't been much going on here. I hope to get the Easter pictures up Sunday sometime. My exciting news is on Monday we find out what we are having. I sure hope its a girl because Tyler is dead set on a sister and has her named and everything. I will inform you the name after Monday if he gets what he wants.

We had a wonderful Easter and had a great time. We took Tyler to the Brookings Easter egg hunt that Saturday and he had a blast and there were a lot of good prizes, like gift certificates to Applebees and other local businesses plus candy of course and some toys. It was better then I thought. Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. We are headed to Minnesota after work.

Update!!

Well, here I am again after a long time of no posting. I keep forgetting to post. Well, things have been going good here. Tyler is amazing us everyday with his personality. For Easter we are going to my mom's. We are heading to Huron Saturday morning after the Brookings Easter egg hunt. Someone wanted me to post some tummy pictures. I look big for how far along I am. I am about 18 weeks. I hate my picture taken....
