Long time/I am Back

I know its been two months since my last post. We have been a busy family.
End of April:
Since our last post Tyler was in his first wedding as a ring bearer at the end of April. He was in Dan's brothers wedding. Dan was also in the wedding as the best man. The wedding was fun and interesting.

May:

The month of may we were busy with odds and ends. My father was here from Rapid City over memorial day. It was a great time seeing and spending time with him. Tyler and us were sure sad to see him go. Tyler was his buddy while he was here. They read lots of books. This month were also looking for a place to live in Brookings. House hunting isn't the most fun thing to do, especially when your not finding anything.

June:

We found a place to live in Brookings. We decided to go with a trailer. Its cheaper and its only temporary. We found a nice 3 bedroom 2 bath trailer. Dan wasn't sold on living in a trailer, but he is dealing with it. We get to start moving next week. This month Dan helped his aunt and uncle with landscaping by building a retaining wall. He is a talented person. We also took Tyler to the races in Hartford for the first time. Tyler sure enjoyed them. He loves cars. He is so obsessed with the movie "Cars" he is collecting all the cars from the movie. He even has pajama's that are cars. He won't give them up for anything. This month also brought problems to me. I did something to my knee, not sure how I did it, but who knows. I dislocated my knee cap. I have been dealing with this little over a month. I have been going to the chiropractic to figure out what is going on. She is the one that saw my knee cap is not in its right spot. So she tried putting it in, but it didn't stay. I must say its painful. Well, sure referred me to a orthopedic specialist and I just saw them yesterday (Tuesday). I have surgery this Friday to fix my knee. He told me what he is going to do, but all I got out of it was taking a ligament out to make my knee cap sit where its suppose to. Then possible release a band on the other side of the knee. I will be laid up for awhile. Tomorrow (Thursday) is Tyler's and my last day at work. I think by not working there I won't be under so much stress. Other than that we have been busy with packing everything up. Packing and moving is not my favorite thing to do. I feel so bad since I won't be able to help that much.

Tyler is continuing to grow and talk non stop. There are times we are not sure what he is saying, but we finally figure it out. I just can't believe how much he growing. At daycare this last couple of weeks he has shown interest on going potty on the toilet. He goes in the toilet at daycare, but just sits on it at home. He will do it when he is ready. I hope everybody has a wonderful rest of the week. I will from now on try and post every night. I will sure post after my surgery when I feel up to it to let everyone know how it went and what they did.

Boy if he doesn't look like his daddy with his cowboy boots and blankie. I hope your surgery goes well. Let us know if we can do anything to help.
