Wow! Time is flying by. My little girl is already a month old :( She weights 9.9. She is getting big. Now, she is fighting a cold, which is not fun. Other then she growing and doing good not much else is going on.
Its not letting me put a picture on, I will try later
Tyler had a great birthday! We are having a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese on Sunday, so he is excited for that. He wanted a swimming party, but that didn't work out, so we will do Chuck E cheese 1 more year. Its just me and kids this weekend. Dan is in Huron working on my mom's house. I cleaned and just hung out with the kids, nothing too exciting. Trying to catch up on some sleep :) that won't happen for awhile. Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend :)

Recap!
Well, its time for an update! Tyler is sure enjoying preschool. Over labor day weekend we went to Huron to help mom and Ryan with the construction of the house and then went to the State Fair. This year I was just not into the fair. We only went one day compared to 5 days last year. Then my dad was back from Rapid City. This was his first time seeing his granddaughter. We enjoyed our time with him and sure miss him and wished he didn't live so far away. Alexa is sure growing... other then keeping up with the kids there isn't much going on. I will leave you with some pictures. Enjoy :)

Update!
Alexa is growing fast. She had her first week check-up and she is doing great. She left the hospital at 6 lbs 3 oz and now is 6 lbs 7oz. Tyler is sure enjoying her and loves her. The transition has been good so far. Tyler has been better then expected. We have been trying to get on a routine, so that has been interesting. Alexa is an easy going baby and easy to satisfy, which is the total opposite of Tyler. The good news is that Tyler is starting preschool tomorrow (Tues). He is so excited. We went to his open house last wed. and met his teacher. He woke up the next morning and asking to go to preschool :) I hope that continues.
We had a great weekend together. My friend had a baby shower for me. It was suppose to be last weekend and a surprise, but since Alexa wanted to come out it didn't work and we moved it to this weekend. I had a few people there and it was good time. My mom was here this weekend and we had a good time spending time together. After the shower went shopping :) Dan was at my mom's working the house, so he was busy and now sore & tired. Well, that is all for now. I will leave you with some pictures :)

Our NEW addition has arrived!
It has been way too long since my last post. We have been busy and I have been forgetting to post.
Well, our new exciting news is that we have now is that our daughter has arrived. She came 3wks early. I had contractions start Sat. Aug. 15 at the fair in Worthington. Dan took me in to Sioux Falls that night, because they were getting worse. They tried to stop them because I was only 36 wks along. If I was 37 wks they would just go ahead and do the c-section that I had scheduled for Sept. 5. So they tried and kept me until Sunday late morning. They did subside, but were still there. They gave me a sleeping pill so I could sleep and I took one Sunday and slept hard. Woke up Monday morning not feeling well. My contractions came back, but were not regular. By 3:00 Monday afternoon they were getting stronger and regular and closer together. When Dan got home at 5:15, he timed them and the doctor said if they are 5 min. apart for 2 hrs then call in and then come in. Mine were 2-3 min. apart just like Sat. They also told me they wouldn't stop it this time. I went in and they tried stopping them again, didn't work. I continued to have them. I was in so much pain. My back and pelvic was killing me. Gave me pain meds, didn't help. So after going through a lot of shots and pills they decided that they will take her by c-section Tuesday morning. Alexa Ann was born at 10:20 weighing 6lbs 10oz. Her health was great. They were worried she would have to be in ICU, but she was healthy and ready to go.
Tyler is so excited to be a big brother. He is doing great for the most part. Alexa is doing great. We didn't get out of the hospital until Friday late afternoon. Wed. morning I came down with an infection. That was very scary feeling. All my symptoms came on so fast and it was a weird feeling. 101.9 fever. So they had to hook me up to the IV to get meds in me to fight it and take lots of blood. To top all of this off they had a really hard time finding my veins for IV or taking blood, so I have so many bruises and hurt from that. It was awful. I had actually 2 IV's in and they were going back and forth. So now that I am home, we are doing good. Its a slow recovery, but doing good. Here are some pictures of our bundle of joy.

Sammy!
While we were gone Sammy was staying with my mom and Ryan. Well, needless to say it wasn't a good weekend. I had a bad feeling about this weekend for some reason. Thursday night we met my mom in DeSmet to give her Sammy. Sammy does go to my mom. I gave her extra kisses and told her that I loved her and we will see her when we get back. Tyler did the same. All week Tyler kept asking why Sammy couldn't just stay home, but I said its just too long. So Friday early evening Ryan came home and thought it would nice to let her outside to go potty and get fresh air. Well, when she went to the door to get back in Ryan was going to open it and she looked at him and she took off. She got scared. Ryan called my mom immediately and she came home and thought she was hiding in the yard somewhere and would come to her when she called her name. She never did for some reason. They looked everywhere for her, but no luck. So my mom had to call me and tell me that they couldn't find her. Where my mom lives they have a service road in front of house then a ditch then busy hwy. Sammy has always been afraid of cars and if she got scared when I wasn't around she would hide. So they left her kennel outside Friday night and Sat. morning she still wasn't around. Since I haven't heard from my mom I knew it wasn't good and they didn't find her. So they talked to some neighbors and described Sammy to them. One neighbor was walking and she came back and said you still haven't found her yet. Then the lady said I think she is over there meaning the road :( Mom and Ryan were in the back looking for her thinking she was back there and they thought they heard a horn. Well, needless to say she was hit by a car. She was on her back home because she just started to cross the hwy to get to my mom's driveway. She was right there. She didn't get hit that hard, but enough for her to go to doggy heaven right away. I just don't understand why she went across the hwy because she has always been afraid of cars. I am glad that she was found and we have closure instead of wondering where she is or if she got ate by something. I just wish she wasn't so scared of guys and would go to people then just me. She was a one person dog. She was with me 24/7 my best friend and shadow. Where ever I was she was.
This is so difficult for me, but I will get through it.I knew there would be a day I would have to say good-bye, but didn't think it would be this way and this soon. I have had her for seven years. I actually got her this last weekend 7 years ago. Tyler surprisingly took it better then I thought. When we told him on our way home from our trip he took it hard at first, but is getting better. He does have his moments and then asks questions.
I love you Sammy and you will always be with us. You will always have a special place in our hearts. We miss you.
